Someone should make a mod where you are required to solve puzzles only using the Rocket Jumper, which has unlimited ammo, and if possible add features like portals, and gravity changes. I'd do it myself but I'm absolute shit a stuff like that.

You need to flick your aim up on the speed pogos (when you're going fast) so the rockets will keep up with you.

You dont need the rocketjumper. The map automatically refills the players health, if you pay attention, you can hear the cabinet restock sound in the video.

How to instal map : Download map, unpack, copy "jump_QuBA.bsp" to :\Steam\SteamApps\YOUR ACC NAME\team fortress 2\tf\maps and play. Cheers.

For those that don't know how to install, here's what you do: Open up your C Drive -> Program Files x86 -> Steam -> SteamApps -> *your steam name* -> team fortress 2 -> tf -> maps. Then just drag the map into there and it should be on the list.

Gods. I found this video and got the map 5 months ago. I still have yet to get over the first wall in the beginner stage. What am I doing wrong? I'm crouch jumping and shooting, yet I still get no higher than halfway up.

@romanusvir try jump, crouch then shoot. the crouch at the start is before jumping is more of a duck tap. you will get to even higher heights if u crouch release crouch jump shoot. timing is everything.

v-- also, would be extremely helpful to know what buttons yoru pressing during that jump. Are you holding A or W the whole time after you turn your view to the right to shoot the wall, or do you let go of W as soon as (or before) you fire the first rocket, and you dont touch the wasd keys.

keep watching this video over and over trying to pinpoint the exact spot where he stands and where he hit the wall on a certain level. The level where you have to rocket jump from a wall, go over the water, then pogo off the middle platform and use the momentum to get to the end. Ive been trying for hours and I cant get enough momentum to get over, im either too high and i hit the ceiling, or i just plow into the middle wall.

@TheLolGuy5 Nope. Rocket jumping hasn't changed. If you use anything but the stock launcher, the rocket jumper or the black box then the increased rocket speed will throw off your timing. The standard setting will launch you if you look down, jump and crouch at the same time. You can rocket jump with the fast launchers but it's harder to get the timing right.

one more thing - on the strafe section with the 2 walls you just pressed the A button and that looks really weird.

what you need to do in order to strafe right is hold D and move your mouse to the right. just like in order to strafe lef tyou press A and move your mouse to the left.

dude why didn't you watch lexer video?

the point of pogoing is when you get fast, you shoot ahead of you (basically you point the mouse upwards).

going up a wall (which you didn't do) requires a very easy skill of puting your mousejust a little up and a little left to your basic 90 degrees down view. and then just spamming.

and a basic rocketjump isn't just shooting down, it's shooting back - thus moving forward. so if anyone wants to know where and when to shoot - watch lexer finish the map.

@bowlinbob6 Press crouch, aim down, and jump, within a split second. The reason for this is that when you press crouch, there's a very short span of time before you actually crouch. However, the TF2 engine thinks you're crouching.

Next, just continously aim down, hold crouch, and hold w. If you're propelling yourselves backward, you're shooting too high. If you're not going high enough, you're not doing your first jump correctly, or you're shooting too low.

@c0latrix Enable developer console through advanced keyboard options and set the keyboard key for it. Press the console key when on your server. Then type in: sv_cheats 1 (Then type in noclip if you want to go through walls.) Be careful when using it. you could get banned from Steam.
