  • I use translator, you thinks a bit

  • Once again very insight! thank you Nina.

A knew about this contest but never considered participating until I saw your videos (parts 1&2). I might even join.

    Once again thanks.

Pd: You look great as always :o)

  • These techniques with the high E were ones I used on my video audition too. I could see your right hand on you video, so I couldn't really see what you actually did. But your E's all spoke very nicely.

  • high E in the third regsiter in one of the worst intonated notes on flute. I sugest, getting a split mech., or not using my tongue, but using my jaw, and my lips to help the intonation and tonal colour.

  • -Thanks for your great masterclass vid!

-LOL, I always think of Drunken Sailor and Three Blind Mice when I play.

    -I use 123 1234 123

-Without little finger, my high E sounded weird, poor tonal colour. :(

  • with my all due respect, your high E's are also sharp in your vid, no? To give it a good tonal quality and good fff sound, can we just let it sharp?

  • I meant your high E's in your Tan Dun video.

  • thank you so much for your help!

i have to agree, the trick with the E's really help!

  • thank you for this video!

    you're such a good flutist!!

  • she sure is! great ideas on the E's! I have very little to add as she said it all! :)
