D. Davenport, I do remember KPRC being owned by the Hobbys, including former Texas Lieutenant Governor Bill Hobby (who was the state's No. 2 from January 16, 1973 to January 15, 1991) and was there forever.
@julianpulido1 I actually have this entire episode... but there's not much to it. Bascially a few people from community groups/ NPOs come on and talk about events as filler.
Both Channel Two Television Company and its successor, H&C Communications, were owned by the Hobby family, which owned channel 2 for many years until they sold the station to Post-Newsweek, who still owns the station to this day.
Channel Two Television Company was the local DBA name for H&C Communications, not it's predecessor. "H&C Communications" was used on productions from the news division (Channel Two News, Eyes of Texas, News Specials) and other local programs while "Channel Two Television Company" was used merely in legal distinction like this sign-off and other paperwork.
Similar names were used for H&C's WTVF in Nashville & other properties the group owned during the time.
