Flea Control : Can Fleas Live on People?

I know! My dog has gotten these super fleas! and like i am being bit up like there is no tomorrow! I HATE THEM!!!

i have so many bites from my pet's fleas. they are all over my legs, stomach, neck, and some on my arms. i dont live dirty, it is just we got a new cat that used to live outside and he is too young for the flea medication or collars. i am afraid of wearing shorts or short sleeve tops now. the itching in unbearable. and they dont bite anyone else in the house. my brother has like two, but i have 20. now i am afraid to hold my cat. ARGH! >:o

In fact both my GP and nurse of the NHS helpline just told me that fleas like CLEAN people, esp children.

Thats BOLLOCKS. We have a current NEW thing this fleas, its my son that is getting the most of them, poor thing is covered. They live in dirty places??? Er... My sons bed is NEW! Actually EVERYTHING in his room is new, we STEAM mop his bed and floors EVERY week, maybe more, also the same down stairs. We dont have carpets down stairs or in the rooms, only on the landing and upstairs toilet, which is also clean, That is a terrible misconception, that people who have fleas is dirty,

I have real serious flea problems and my friends laugh when they see fleas jumping on me. Should I wear a flea collar? Will it work?
