  • They say the same things with every new generation of Superduty. Heck they said the same things about the 6.0L Powerstroke, and that wound up being a piece of s*** to own long-term.

  • @lilwealthyboi888 Your an internet ballah!..lol

  • @fordmustang1234 Can you read!..lol

  • @fordmustang1234 The new Tundas are built in America unlike the ford that is made in Mexico.

  • JUNK!!

  • funny how they say its "built for an easy 250,000 miles" if id spend that much on a new truck id want atleast an easy350,000 miles but know me itd be a tough 350,000 i got a 2000 silverado with the 6.0L and its got 275,000 miles on all orignal parts and its been beat to hell and back and it still runs and drives like when i bout it new

  • Not a good engine what I have been hearing,Jasper got a hold of 6 or 7 of them finding problems and came up with upgrades already.Nothing but in the shop getting fixed.

  • Faggots On Rigged Dicks

    bowtie till i die

  • i like how he said an easy comfortable 250,000 miles...whats the deal, i wanna hear confidence when they say it should be able to 5 or 600,000 miles not just 250. My old 6.2 gmc had 568,405 miles on it when i sold it and still ran like the gutless beast it was from day one...shear reliablity thats what i want

  • @montanachevy Im sure itll last way past 250 thats just a low ball number that they can use for marketing purposes, im a ford man but every powerstroke, duramax, or cummins ive ever seen has lasted way beyond 250,000

  • ford still owns the crown

  • ford still owns the crown

  • its the best diesel fords ever came out with...that what they said about the 6.0

  • its the best diesel fords ever came out with...thats what they said about the 6.0

  • @farmerman98 Best one was the 7.3

  • @VFA103JollyRogers they should of kept on going with the 7.3 they would of if it wernt for the dumbass people on global warming fuck it

  • @1colethebeast it's nuts, Diesel is cleaner burning then gas, the problem is people see black smoke coming outta the stacks, and automatically think it's bad

  • @1colethebeast ya, but the 6.7 looks promising

  • my buddy got one two days ago... things already in the shop. With NOTHING done to it haha. My dads had his 6.7 cummins for a while, chipped, and NOTHING wrong haha. But really.... the design of the engine and turbo on these fords are rediculous! Pretty cool if you ask me!

  • @averageman67 it may be the same liter as the cummins but it has way more horsepower n torque. This engine is a completly new design one that has never been created the configuration is diffrent from any other diesel or gas motor out there.

  • this is complete bull shit!!!!! cummins had the 6.7L first dam cry babying copying wanabee bastards fuck you ford!! cummins had the 6.7 first great engine and can still beat any dam powerchoke anyday!!!! why can't u use your own dam engine size???? like 6.8 or 6.5 or sumthing???/ just cause you make it the same liter as the cummins wont make it as good no matter what u do you won't beat cummins or duramax fucking crybaby wannabees!!!! ford sucks quit trying to fix it

  • @averageman67 holyyy dude, calm down... if ford copied cummins then they would have made there diesel an inline 6 too you dumb ass. ford, chev, and dodge all have made 400ci engines, i never lost sleep over it...or anybody else for that matter

  • @averageman67 the powerstroke has more horse and more torque then the cummins...so quit you bitchin bout the same damn engine size no one cares...read a diesel mag it shows the specs for all the new engines duramax has the most horse and torque then its powerstroke then cummins which is way lower then both of them...o and fyi the cummins 6.7 can not beat a 6.7 powerstroke. according to Diesel Power mag "cummins is noticeably low on power compared to ford and gm"

  • @averageman67, Im sure they made it 6.7 completely on purpose...its a COMPLETELY different configuration so there for its not at all copied, it does not matter if its the same displacement powerstroke=V8 Cummins 6.7=IL6 no comparison whatsoever.....Im a ford guy, But i love cummins, this engine is not a copy, if you knew anything about engines you would realize they are completely different.

  • bout time they learn that 4 head bolts/cylinder doesn't cut it. i'll take the lml duramax any day

  • Built Ford Tough he says, just like the sick litre I suppose! : )

  • 250,000 miles? That's it? WTF... The engineer said it.

  • @Deepinher01 he said an easy 250k so that means it can do alot more

  • @Deepinher01 "Easy" "Comfortable" 250 000 mi. So that means it'll do another 250 000 mi.

  • fuk that u want durability u need to have the 7.3 turbo!

  • the last thing i would care about is gas milage, if you can afford a 50k truck, you can offard 15 mile to the gallon. id be worryed about other stuff breaking down...

  • @xxbal1inxx look for 9 mpg, not 15

  • Ford better unfuck itself and make diesel engines sound like diesel engines.

  • Seems to be some confusion around Ford owning Cummins. Ford has never owned Cummins. The only way you can get a Cummins engine is in the 650 and 750 trucks not the 550,450,350,or 250's those all have the powerstroke. Here's the thing in the early 90's Ford did have stock in Cummins but was ONLY 10%. Then in 97 they disinvested them selves, which I do not know why.

Hope this helps clear things up.

  • wtf they have a leaf on the side?

  • It can run on bio fuel.

  • 2011 duramax will have 397 hp @ 3000 rpm and 765 torque @ 1600 rpm

  • Ironicly the dodge cummins is from ford dodge buys them every year and powerstroke is fords idea

  • @frozenassets97 no cummins is not from ford....ford does not own cummins, never have.. they owned stock, a small portion of stock

  • @smourj21

Back in the day ...they bought 51% of shares to control the board to delay any new changes that could be put into the Dodge Cummins, before the launch of their own 6.0. (which had a failed launch anyway, but nice try) It was simple a short term business tactic. This is where all the stupid rumors about ford owning cummins came from. In a sense they did for a very short time, but it had only one purpose. But I hear ya man - Ford doesn't own Cummins!

  • @MasterWasp74

Sorry, not true. Ford had a minority steak in cummins(like 15%) And its been several yrs since they had any part in it. They had a seat on the board, but did not control it. Had nothing to do with cummins/dodge.

  • @fountainpower

Maybe you're right. Can't believe everything you read on Wikipedia.

  • @frozenassets97 WOW STOP. have you been under a rock since about 1996? they had a 12% stock in cummins and dropped it in 1996.

  • got that right. why do you think they put the cummins in the 550?

  • ford sucks, chevy rocks, 2011 chevy will be 10x better and cheaper than the shitty ford, ford= Found On Roadside Dead, ford circles the problem....

  • only gay men wear bow ties

  • @zachsmithisthebest like pewee herman?

  • @zachsmithisthebest what the fuck? i wear bowties and im not gay. stop generalizing, its a type of style.

  • @speedy02 well your family is probably too poor to afford a bow tie. i just bought my second gucci 300 dollar bow tie, and my first one was a louis vuitton (i doubt u will understand the fine life) and I'm straight. so go on and reply to this comment in the public library you filthy peasant.

  • The 6.0 diesel have 4 bolts per cylinder and are prone to head gasket failure. A $5,000 or $6,000 repair job.

  • thank god someone gives a crap abt their truck line, theres no 7.3l its a 6.7l

  • @carolina52beason 7.3 was one of the original powerstrokes

  • @bobfred29 7.3 was the only motor anyone liked.

  • THANK YOU mike rowe

  • i know everybody cannot wait to see the new 6.7 powerstroke and the 6.7 cummins line up and do a pull off......that would be sic....i wonder who would win.....

  • the 6.7 powerstroke is making 40 more hp and 100 more lb-ft......i'd put my money on the ford :)

  • amazing. sounds like the 7.3L is back.

  • Same here and I'am happy there bring back the 6 bolt heads yes :)

  • Bad Ass!!! I want one.
