I went to Santa Monica College and I experienced an awful amount of racism 10 years ago I would not go back to school until 7 years later I was devastated and it was from the staff and it was blatant noone can deny that it exists there whether you're married outside of your race or not.

But, he was tottally unhappy about the joke, because it is a extremelly delicated issue. One thing is tell something for a group of friends, but as a teacher you need to be carefull about public opinions, so it is more than acceptable if he gets a punishment about his atittude.
