@xxxRAAMxxx1 there wotn be a mechwarrior 5, there never WAS one, there was originally a Mechwrrior 1 Remake, but it got canned and has now been turned into MWO Mercs which will be a supposedly free2play semi-MMO that will play more like Mechwarrior 2 thru 4 but with small MMO features, but the action and gameplay will be fairlyu classic to what we all know and love, itll just have small MMO features liek Pilot and Mech level up

9:41 - probably one of the ugliest mechs in existence... Humanoid legs with non-humanoid torso usually look a bit awkward (like Stalker for example, yuck) - but this blocky thing takes the cake.

To be honest, I never really liked missile boats, except for fooling around in campaign. One AMS and your firepower is cut in half, not to mention that you can't really aim for the head...

An accurate gauss/PPC user > missiles every time. That mech is just fat, free food :( .

Oh, and I don't really like my atlas with a huge head. Original MW4 design was just spot on - balanced, yet preserved that feel of sheer massiveness.

All other Atlas designs had fucked up proportions - either it was huge head, sticks for legs or just a fat belly.

Yet mektek brought it back - I understand that it was on request from classic btech fans - but aestheticlly it's just meh.

Btw, I never understood the whiners saying MW4 Atlas didn't convey that fearsome uglyness.

@NosferatuAaacaado I thought the MW4 official Atlas was a fine addition to the roster of Atlas styles; the mektek ones look too much like someone's fan interpretation as do A LOT of these designs which greatly disappointed me. Then of course they added their own original designs...at which point I started hating them...its MechWarrior not MekTek's MechWarrior....but even that's changed cause now they pretty much own it :|

As much as I love Mektek - I largely prefer the original (Vengeance) roster. Thing with mektek (and even Mercs a litle bit) - it just got too many old, outdated unpopular 'disney' designs that seem just out of place - while Vengeance mech list felt carefully handpicked and refined - only the best designs made it into the game (with a couple ommisions).

My only complaint about Mech 4 over Mech 3 is the annoying throttle controls. I wish it had a return to 0 feature like on Mech 3, so I can go forward by just pressing the arrow up key upon release the mech stops. So much easier to control then.

Heck the only reason that combat is still going on there is because people from out side those two countries come in and attack CIVILIAN areas to get at USA people trying to help rebuild. America spent close to 20 years in europe and asian helping after ww2 it takes time to rebuild shit after a war.

@clondan1 I have the game and there is both a Grim Reaper and a Kodiak, and the Dasher is the Inner Sphere name for Fire Moth. Fire Moth is the Clan name. ;)

Fafnir is still my favorite, those twin heavy guasses it mounts will shed your opposision in an instant (within 600 meters) especially when combined with Clan Large Lasers, i personally would've liked t see some ballistic hardpoints on it though.
