  • he sounds like he's got cotton balls in his mouth

  • Miatta likes this

  • God.

Only grants so many gifts, he is one.

  • Is there a person leading him in the studio? If yes, I'd like to know who he is. This is so funny.

  • My God. I have to stop at 0:45 of 4:36. So funny, I can't and cannot bear...

  • imagine, kung lahat ng mark vincent ganito kagaling?? wahaha andami ko kinaiinsekyuran..

  • mario lanza would himself....be so damn proud! in love with the new voice...that has yet to become the greatness it will be....awesome

  • He really needs to go and train within the opera. He'll hurt himself before long. If he did that, he would come out better than ever. Only after like 20 years, though. That's how long it takes to get anywhere near the greats of opera.

  • You truely are blessed young man.(good genes). You are going to be one of the worlds' best opera singers & I WILL come to your concerts.Absolutely amazing.

  • great richness and depth of voice. marvelous softness .............thank u MV

  • Probably the most beautiful song ever written and well done by Mark Vincent, keep studying and keep singing mark you will one day be great.! The m ost importatant thing of all is that you love singing, that is what will make you a truly great singer.

  • very excellent. . . awesome tone, awesome voice.

  • This is so beautiful.....

  • My favourite Christmas song of all time, this is now officially my favourite version. Thank you so must Mark Vincent!

  • not that good

  • I want this sung at my wedding. By Mark, of course...diana

  • I cried the first time I heard this young man sing my favorite "Ave Maria"... lovely to the bone xoxox

  • That voice can't be from that kid...amazing!

  • Mark is mon his way to end up with a beautiful voice. My opinion is that he should seek proper guidance and advice. Australia has given great singers. There is a tradition, a great tradition, in his country. The things I have listened to are improper show-offs. He should be more careful. One day he might be successful, but must be properly guided. He must sing what is in the score not ridiculous inventions. The jury is so ignorant about classical singing. Don't harm this boy's future.

  • @carclamcc I totally agree with you. I think he is being asked to show off instead of using his natural color. He makes his voice sound bigger than it is supposed to be. I think with proper training, he will find his light lyric tenor. It is painful for me to see a talent like this go wasted and be a circus. Voice teachers and experts, please intervene if you know him personally! The talent is there for sure and he must be given the right direction.

  • @alexmz123 I agree in total with what you say his voice is without a doubt a lot more able to express softness than he is showing. It is as suggested the commercialisation of a product not the development of a natural gift. I will follow his progress with interest. Richard Buttal is I feel the greatest of boy sopranos over the last centuary (this my personal opinion not an agreed fact) and as he was allowed to develope so should Mark. Thank you Mark for the beauty of your voice a gift from God.

  • @alexmz123 THANK YOU. even from his speaking voice, I hear a tenor who's over-weighting his voice to meet the demands of the business, media, and not to mention fans...nevertheless, he's an awesome interpretor and enchantingly expressive.

  • Beautiful boy and more beautiful voice....it is...UNBELIEVABLE!!! GO MARK GO!! U'RE THE BEST

  • God has given you a great gift, be grateful and show the world your beauty for all to enjoy.

  • Great voice and Most important it can it can really touch your heart !!!!

  • A beautiful rendition...full of passion and feeling...well done, Mark...and to your musical arranger...you have done this young man proud...thank you...di

  • The voice the world has been waiting for since Lanza.

  • Indeed Lanza is born again....and I cant wait to hear this man in the future

  • I'm moved to tears & speechless! Mark, your voice has all the power, grace, majesty and comfort of God and Heaven! Your voice is PERFECT. As a kid I knew classical music & sang hymns at Mass before listening to Motown, rock, jazz, etc. My family is gifted musically (I have an alto soprano sis) so believe me when I say it's a PRIVILEGE and a BLESSING to hear you sing. I am certain you will be listed right along side Caruso and Lanza. You've got it all & the world b4 you - CARPE DIEM MARK!!

  • @ChiefZ8 Thanks for your comments and your info. re Walter Scott's Poem. Wondered where the beautiful words came from...thought it were a woman's 'plea'...di

  • Your are a really talented boy.

    My congrats... never give up.

    You are blessed.

    Maria

  • Very nice instrument and very good rudimentary technique-especially for a15 year old! However, I fear that if he continues to sing so dark and big in the middle voice he'll never really mature as a tenor. Too young to be doing that even if the audience likes it. Listen to what he does as the song goes on and he tries to sound more 'emotional'.

Also, whoever thought it was a good idea to record Ave Maria in English?

  • @martinlyric

I believe the English lyrics are the original words by Walter Scott for LADY OF THE LAKE. As written, the heroine is forced to take refuge in a cave to avoid persecution and arrest. It is then, when she is most desperate, she offers a "Hymn to the Virgin." The Roman Catholic prayer, Ave Maria (Hail Mary) was adapted to the music later.

  • bella bella god bless you mate gods given you a wonderfull gift dont waiste it please

  • Magnificent - aren't youngsters a joy?

  • OMG, freakin beatiful, I have to say he is the cloest i have heard to Pavarotti, I think he is the one to take his place. Mark I love you, you're amazing, don't ever give up. Nick from southwest Ohio :)

  • BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL VOICE.!!!!!!

  • The world will be still listening to him in 20 years. Still talking about him 60 years!

  • Mark Vincent is totally awesome. What an inspiring and amazing young man. It's so good to know that there are still intelligent and musically talented young Australians in our midst.

  • 15??

  • Makes me proud to still be Australian. Hope he gets recognition in Canberra and from the local radio and media moguls.

    Canada over.

  • He is magnificent!!

  • THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS WONDERFUL GIFT !!!

    Joy.

  • Definately the potential to be the best that every was..... Wonderful talent. Thank you Mark!

  • Is Ave Maria a song only for tenors? Or could a baritone as well sing it? Do you differ different opera songs according to voice type at all?

  • Absolutely magnificent!! Can't believe he is only 15!!!

  • Great voice, but the arrangement is horrible. Keep the Schubert as written...

  • Wow! This brought tears to my eyes it's so beautifully sung.

  • the next lanza, he would turn in his grave... He has got to match me first. Im closer to lanza than he will ever ever be.

  • interesting enough that a Jweesh boy sings Italian-Catholic song while the legend Pavaroti took his singing lessons in a Roman Jweesh sinaguage at Firiday Evenings from Jweesh cantors. Hallelulya!!!

  • he may have italian heritage and i am also proud to have italian heritage too

  • does it matter if he is part italian or part australian the fact everyone forgets is he is a great singer and not many people can sing as good as he does i hope he has a great future in the music industry

  • great voice i love it

  • Very Nice

  • Mark, your Grandfather would be so proud. I'm sure he's looking down on you. You have a wonderful future ahead of you. God Bless

  • this is not a good version. It ruins the beauty of the song. He does not sing like it should be.

  • If anybody knows how to contact him; i need to know because i want to do an operatic duet with Mark Vincent. If your curious how i sound; message me and i will send you the video of me singing 6 opera songs in different languages including this song at my mom's work.

  • i sing opera too. show what u got

  • @TheCaveman471 Give me at least a week to send it to you kay? but if you can do yours quick than send me your video first.

  • @limogirlxoxo sounds good

  • why don't you post a video of yourself on here? ...love to see new talent....

  • he's voice is awesome!

  • cool

  • God Bless You! Wonderful!

  • beautiful, makes me want to cry, just imagine his voice in anther 15-20 years, omg it will be more amazing

  • omg 15 years? a new Mario Lanza is born. What a great Talent. Very good voice - but lanza still the best! watch him!

  • There's room for all great talents -- we must learn to enjoy all!

  • Visions of Mario Lanza! Wow.

  • Mark Vincent is the REAL THING, as opposed to the lightweights in the other "Got Talent" shows that are pumping out electronically enhanced albums to cover up their mediocrity. There is no doubt in my mind that Mark will make it to the top in an operatic career, but I hope someone doesn't try to turn him into a tenor. He is a baritone, and if he stays a baritone he will be one of the best baritones of the CENTURY.

  • @Observer585 In an article that was written for Mark's web site. They call him a Tenor. I hope who ever manage him does not force him into a Tenor. I am technically a Baritone, but have to sing bass for a small Church Choir and on an anthem written for SATB a few times the base notes goes into the Tenor range and that is a Strain. (Our Director always tell new members that many voices can enhance a choir but some of those same voices could never sing a solo. And That's Me

  • @jsnzk ... he isnt a tenor, he hasnt got any high notes, if yiu cant sing top c then u aint a tenor and he doesnt even come within a note of top c

  • Guaranteed his voice will change to the extent that he will be a good baritone. He is pushing himself too much already...he's got a long way to go......

  • @scrollersam

I completely agree. He has a fabulous voice, but he will end up a baritone (the way many boy sopranos do) by his mid-twenties. I only hope he's in the right hands. An unscrupulous coach or agent could kill the voice in short order. He's already forcing into dangerous places.

A 15 year old should not be singing Puccini if he wants longevity. That said, he has an extraordinary instrument for a 15 year old male.

  • better than pavaroti no. I agree with manualdemise. and maclaren888 - lay off. he's 15. a lot of people that age haven't even finished going through puberty yet, much less are able to hit a B without it cracking. He's going places. thats all there is.

  • He is awsome. Especially for his age. But don't be ridiculous. Pavarotti sang more powerfully than anyone has ever. Luciano was the genetically perfect operatic singer. He sang from the deepest voids of the diaphragm that rarely any other singer has been able to duplicate. But more importantly, he accomplished this with the same effort you would put into humming in the shower. Mark is a great talent. No doubt. But he is worlds apart from Pavarotti. Both wonderfully talented but in different ways

  • He has a very good voice...but better than Pavarotti? lol...you ignorant fool.

  • Mazeltov! Wonderful. Please release his recordings in Europe.

  • very pawerful voice..he needs to learn how to hold back softly at some notes, when to hit and when to be fading away..I like when he hit the first "maria", he sang it' maa-ria" thats so great..

  • nice voice.. what a great dedication to Ibni Maryam(Maria) woman choosen above all nations, bearing the pain for the birth of prophet Jesus (pbuh) and honorable woman at this life and after....(from Al-Quran)

  • Ma questo e la musica magnifico. Pavoratti reincarnated.

  • Beautiful - so nice to have so many good voices from all over singing such beautiful music. I hope they all have wonderful careers without the usual drama and problems.

  • amazing young andgoodlooking and jewish

  • I think not - he's from an Italian family!!

  • @jules1210 HE'S AUSTRALIAN AND YES HE IS JEWISH

  • @LENGOBOWL I think not, mate! Born in Australia, but family is Italian, and you won't find many Jewish lads attending a Catholic College!!

  • @jules1210 YOUR WRONG JULES, HE DID NOT GO CATHOLIC COLLEGE, HE'S ONLY 15 YEARS OLD. HIS NAME IS MARK VINCENT KAPLAN. JEWISH

  • @LENGOBOWL Mark Vincent is ethnically and culturally Italian. He is Catholic and was raised by his Italian born maternal grandparents and grew up working in their Italian restaurant. He attends De La Salle College in Caringbah - a boys 7-10 Catholic Systemic School within the Archdiocese of Sydney. Strictly speaking Jewish origin descends from the mother and his mother's maiden name is Ricci. There is nothing in any bios about him that mention his last name being Kaplan.

  • @LENGOBOWL He goes to to DeLaSalle College which is a Catholic private boys high school.

Mark is Catholic. His grandfather,Bruno Ricci was created a Papal Knight by the Vatican . Mark is following in his "Nonno's" footsteps.Although just 17, Mark has already received a special award for his tireless work for charity. In Junehe was created a Squire of the Sovereign Order of St John of Jerusalem Knights of Malta at a ceremony held at the St Ambrose Church Concord, Australia.

  • All I can say, I had goose bumps and tears in my eyes. What a talent, what a gift!! Kurt Wolff

  • Mark, your grandfather must be SO proud. I hope his spirit is with you always. I hope to hear you in the US soon.

  • Sencillamente espectacular, maravilloso !!!

  • one of the best tenor versions of Ave Maria around!!! Mark you are a godsend! Now if your looking for a soprano version of Ave Maria Mirusia Louwerse is your girl. I personally like the fact that both Mark and Mirusia are Australian of European decent and young! P.S my picture on my channel is of the CD Mark signed for me...happiest moment of my life =]

  • I'm completly astonished with this amazing job!

    Go Mark, you're a rising star :)

  • the only difference between mark vincent and mario lanza is the age what a great singer

  • yup...this guy is definitely going to be forever famous.......beautiful voice on this kid.....BIG CONGRATS MARK :).....

  • By the way, I think Susan Boyle is fabulous. But even she can't match this kind of achievement by a 15-year-old. Where or where is the American press when this kind of talent is out there? Sony's publicity department should get busy contacting the American talk show producers if they haven't already.

  • I'm in Las Vegas and just posted the first CD review on Amazon. I'm thrilled. Although Mark is just starting to be known here in the United States, I know it's only a matter of a very short time before he's a household name around the world. What a glorious beginning to what I hope will be one of the longest recording careers ever. This is a fabulous Ave Maria. I can't wait for more!

  • really great voice. I enjoy listening to you

  • my favorite song , he did a great job

  • Could some one please post "My Way" from this album?

  • love your work cousin

  • The voice the world has been waiting for since lanza.

  • THE BEST!!!!!

  • He will be the best singer the world has ever known...a Gift from the Gods.... His Grandfather is his personal guardian angel.....

  • Love your music and voice. GREAT job.
