not for this phone u dont. but if they call you, tell them to put u on a pay per use plan "like only pay when u use it" BUT BUT BUT, you MUST tell them after that to do a data block on your phone, so that the phone does not use any data when you arnt aware of it. because remember, pay as u use data plan is like freaking 15 bucks for 1mb LOL

The data plan for pocket pc's and pdas for verizon is 45$. I think it's great because its better than the 60$ i pay now. Having the data plan is handy tho....not all the time is there gonna be a wifi access point around, and u never know when u may need it, 45$ is a steal

i think it will as long as you are in range of your router, because the phone can use Wi-Fi. as long as you dont have a data plan from verizon, you can get free internet while in your house. hope that helps

you can connect to internet when theres Wi-Fi which almost everywhere now. or you can pay 40$ to verizon to go on to the internet. (Wi-Fi is free)

Camera quality is TERRIBLE! The speakerphone, however, is louder than a freakin' 747 jet. Also you can use any mp3 as a ringer and they play LOUD!

I don't think the camera quality is that horrid....it is definitely an improvement over phones of the past but it is only 1.3 megapixel...the flash works great

I do like the flash, but it's not really worth taking a pic if the quality is poor...1.3MP or not. And the video is almost indistinguishable...everything just looks like a pixelated blur. Don't get me wrong though...I LOVE THIS PHONE. I didn't buy it for the camera.
