Many people get that the mascot issue is part of a larger picture, and for those that don't get it, hopefully in time it will click- and in the mean time, we don't waste our time convincing them, we go through legislation, we keep educating those that are willing and open to listen, and it keeps moving forward...

The means that some people are taking to stop this isnt right. It is just a mascot there are much more important civil rights issues that need to be resolved than being politically correct about this. Also how is this racist EVERY race had warriors, if anything this is honoring the Native Americans success as warriors.

thank you for posting this video. i'm native american and go to a school with a "warrior" mascot. it's been difficult for me to go to my school as the only native and have to endure all the racism with virtually no support from the other students.

we are finally changing the mascot and i am being cornered by the majority of the students because of my opposition to the mascot. i posted the link to this video on my myspace and was able to change one person's mind; that's all i wanted :)
