Don't like the guy's voice. I mean, he has great range, but he always seemed too 'histrionic' for my taste.. however, the song as a whole kicks axe (pun intended hohoho). still have the vinyl and still play it every now and then, which is weird since i never really favored popmetal/hardrock, and sorta fancied classic metal, classic/prog/psych rock and hardcore punk. but these guys were good, real good.
Man! I still remember the fist time i heared Kick Axe. I think was like 10. & Welcome to the Club fell into my lap! Well!!! I memorized that puppie over night! Then came to realize Vices an some other trakes. Thouse days brought to an end , my musical influential uncertainties. I was a bourne rocker!! Went out and bought my first guitar shortly after!
@REFLEX1320 yeah, totally serious. the scene with the fan headed people was done in one shot....mainly because i freaked out right after and they couldn't calm me down to take any more. lol
I first heard Kick Axe when I went to see Transformers The Movie in 1986. It was amazing to hear and see their music juxtaposed with the baddest animation yet produced at that time. I learned to love Kick Axe real fast because of that. I still think they're awesome -oh btw I'm 32 so I hadn't yet turned 9 the first time I heard them. Now my five year old likes Kick Axe. :)
@Distilled13 I feel the same way................ I have the cassette lol let me guess you're in the 39 range!!! You think of 1984 a lot??? am i close??
oh this old song, i heard it when i was junior high school boy. i remember the album's picture. and i dont know where's my cassette, its lost or somehing? thanks for this song.
