If this biker had not been well behaving but agressively changing lanes nothing would have hapened to him. Bikers don't do emergency stops, they brake away from emergencies.
I drive an 18 wheeler and we are taught to not get out of our vehicle immediately. Stop, apply all brakes, flashers, and turn on lights, makes you more visible. If cell phone call 911, give facts, if you have a c.b. alert oncoming trucks. Then, and only if you feel safe, exit your vehicle and help. The primary concern is to secure your own safety first, why be just another victim?!

that is why no one gets out right away. just cause your car is "blocking" the way doesn't mean the car behind you cannot push right through you. You cannot help if you get hit getting out of your car.

If you watch this video real closely you can see smoke from the rear tire of the motorcycle , the guy on the bike locked up his brakes in front of the vehicle and the vehicle couldn't stop in time.

@redtigers22 not the drivers fault, everyone braked...you can see the bike screeched his tires before the car hit him..the driver too, braked hard, you could see the weight shift to the front...sadly the car is not equipped with carbon ceramics...which is the cause of this fatal accident..

@redtigers22 the motorcyclist is my brother and from what we know, he did not get arrested. all he got was 3 tickets: on for driving with no insurance, one for driving with no license, and one for speeding.
