I loved the video but I think 5 rivers complete punjab and pakistan and India have only three each, So great punjab is neither in India nor in pakistan . Great Punjab is unfortunately spread in two countries . Well with my last name no one can even tell what side of Punjab Iam frm as its common to both muslims and Sikhs so Great PuNJAB hAS Five rivers and indian n pakistani punjab is incomplete w/o each other

and all i can say is wowww.. that reminds me of home.. it is exactlyy the same.. the people.. the culture.. what got to me the most was that little masjid in the Pindh.. we have exactlyyy the same thing in our pindh except for masjid it is a gurudwara. yet it looks almost identitical looking at the size and shape of itt.. growing up i never knew that there was Pakistani Punjab.. now I have to say wid time im shocked to see how we are almost mirror of each other..

I can honestly say almost every video of punjab weather india or pakistan theres always some debate in the comments everyone shut up and be proud of who you are.. hindu, sikh, muslim.. regardless where your born. its unfortunate punjab is split in two but people are remain humble on both sides. punjab is remainds beautiful weather your in sialkot or sangrur.. it looks the same we speak the same we eat the same we were born into different beliefs but we should believe in each other fello punjabis

@AwesomeTruth1982 sure bro.. i wouldn't mind eating beef kababs.. only reason we don't is because we live in a Hindu country and Hindus don't eat beef.. otherwise no problem.. we will eat beef too.. only difference is that you eat halal meat and we jhatka but there are lot of Punjabi muslims on Indian side (like Malerkotla) and from what I hear some Sikhs left on Pakistani side too.. soo yaaa bro.. don't mind beef at all.. I eat it here in Canada all the time..

@munawarsagheer nice video, but one suggestion that the background music should be of Baba buleh shah, and add more shots of Lahore, like Shahi Qila, Muzang, shalimar bagh, data sahab, and you totally missed anar kali, chennab river, ravi, bara darri, things like that. and instead of slides please ad video, that will be great

As a Jatt Sikh i think west punjab is not as popular as it was before partition. I didnt even know there was a Punjab in Pakistan intill now and there many more that dont know about it either.

If u r a sikh & u didnt know about Punjab in Pakistan then shame on u on being a sikh as all ur temples and shrines & birth place of ur guru is in Pakistan.... i know many sikhs in USA who r my friends & want to visit Nankana sahab...... i dont care what u say but i do know what my other sikh brothers & friends which i know say about punjab in Pakistan.

let me tell u one more thing about the popularity of Pakistani punjab. Every year people from all around the world come in last week of February to celebrate basant in lahore & during this time u cannot find a single room in any of the hotels in lahore or other big cities like gujranwala, rawalpindi, faisalabad etc. if u really want to see this come & visit lahore during basant. Right now the govt has put ban on kite flying due to some accidents & misuse by some people.

Yes you are right... After independence, there was another partition of Punjab in India. Punjab was divided in Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.. otherwise i think both Punjab's were of equal size..

nope Punjab was dividing two parts, 55 percent Pakistani Punjab and 45 Indian Punjab.

Even without whole Gurdaspur which was supposed to be the part of Pakistani Punjab accrording to partition formula.Only Shakargarh teshsil was included and the rest of Gurdaspur given to India.
