GOLD has the piano parts a little bit softened so the other instruments in the song can be apreciated, meanwhile the RED one the piano volume it's more elevated and it's imposed as the main instrument of the song...
Don't be tards, the quality on the GOLD version is the same as the RED one, its just much better balanced than the RED one, which has far too much piano in it.
It's probably a short version of the symphony long edition from the IIDX RED OST.
