How did they get the land? Research Cecil Rhodes and his brutal treatment of Africans yet he is honored. Wherever the European went on this planet death and destruction followed. Those farmers may be decent people but they were in a position that wouldn't have existed without oppression, genocide, trickery, etc. You may argue that they themselves did nothing wrong but they enjoyed an unfair advantage thanks to great wrongs. At least they were allowed to live. Africans NEVER received such mercy.

Yes, I will say that no matter how that land was gotten in the first place the white farmers who have it now probably acquired it by legal means.
I say help black farmers with incentives, training... hell even even subidizes if you want to. However stealing land from farmers and giving it to governement officials using race as an exuse is pretty poor behaviour and can`t lead to anything good.

I do not think what Mugabe did is best for his nation but I understand the factors that set the stage. Did colonialism ever truly leave or did it get more sophisticated? The British, Israelis, Americans, Belgians, Italians and French still maintain hidden hands in all of the 3rd world not just Africa. Throw in China and Russia too. They meddle in the affairs of these emerging nations and keep them in a state of confusion and disunity.
