The makeup looks great as you made it specific for your eyes. However, it doesnt suite a good majority of us that dont have very high defined eyebrows. In this vid it appears that she can put 2 fingers from her crease to the eyebrows. I barely have the space for my thinnest finger.

@MaddieGracep-Flapper is not a term for a 1920s prostitute! Who ever told you that? It is a term for the new breed of brash young women who emerged in the 1920's. They cut their hair short, wore lots of make-up, drank, listened to jazz, drove cars, treated sex in a casual manner and threw of the social shackles that oppressed them. They were the pioneers for feminism. The term flapper refers to a young bird just learning to flap it's wings.

So often we base the look of this period on film...black and white film. This film was not sensitive to red, making the negative clear and the print very black. This would give the impression of a deeper red than it really was. The film was often illuminated with blue arc lights. Color film was very poorly color balanced. Max Factor formulated makeup to look proper with this strange color balance. He had another makeup for street use. We may be unrealistic here...though it is striking.

Hey Kandee, thanks so much for this! I am on my 2nd attempt at this tutorial as I have my 20s birthday party on Saturday. I invested in new brushes as last time I did this tutorial I got shadow all over my base and even when i brushed it off my base look bluish! Using my new brushes this time, and using toilet paper as protection, but still having same problem- very frustrating. getting dark sprinkles of shadow over bridge of nose and face. Considering applying base AFTER eyes-any tips?
