So Huggins legitimately felt bad about leaving k-state, but wvu is his alma mater, his hometown, and dream job. He worked out well in Morgantown just as kstate was left in highly capable hands. I can see this becoming a nice rivalry. See ya next year in the Big 12!

Why are KSU fans so bitter at his departure? In his 1 year there, he brought Bill Walker, Beasley, and a guy named Jacob Pullen who last time I checked I remember seeing play in the Elite8 a week ago.

If he had left to move to a better program, then I would totally understand the anger at taking a chance on the guy, and being used.

But the alma mater is special. The old WVU president didn't want Huggs. Now he's gone, and when Beilein left he knew this might be his only chance to go back.

I agree but there are people who have done things a lot worse than Bobby huggins...I.E. Lane Kiffin, Rich Rod (he left his home to go to a program and he left like an absolute douche, burning files etc.) Bob Huggins did leave and yes I'm sure it was rough for K State fans, but he came to his home town and didn't burn bridges or anything. Also, K State is still a great program because of what Huggins did do in his one year there. K State is where there are probably because of that one year.

I just watched this press conference for the first time. Wow, does it bring up emotions that we here in Morgantown are all too familiar with. First, Belein, then Rodriguez. You folks were at least "leveled with" by Huggins, he didn't pull the garbage Rich Rodriguez has tried. You were lucky to have Huggins and we are pleased to have him now. I understand very well the betrayal that was felt when he left. At least he left a stable of players second to none. I hope we don't draw you in the tourney

Haha, that's funny- KSU is actually recognized nationally as having more than three times the number of major scholarship awards (Rhodes, Truman, Goldwater, Udall, and Marshall) than any other school in Kansas. And, Manhattan wasn't rated the #2 unfriendliest town in the nation towards homeless people like Lawrence was. But don't worry- I guess all the K-State fans can just go 'bury their heads' in our #1 recruiting class and our football team (KU is picked last in the Big 12...again).
