how do you get particles to follow a path? i know its a very noobish question but it seems no one is willing to tell me, so please? it would be very nice of you =)
then have the startpoint of the path touching the particle emitter, then with the path selected, push f7 twice in the buttons menu, this should take you to the physics buttons
find the box that says fields and deflection, then pull the menu down, and select curve guide. make sure your path is still selected
yay! thx im gonna try that soon after i finish rendering my liquid thingey, it takes sooo long even without materials so im dieing here. well thanks i will try it later =D.

well first of all, i didnt use paths here
but anyway what you do is umm
make a curve>path
then have the startpoint of the path touching the particle emitter, then with the path selected, push f7 twice in the buttons menu, this should take you to the physics buttons
find the box that says fields and deflection, then pull the menu down, and select curve guide. make sure your path is still selected
then you can change more options from there.
have fun!
