  • Shinowan Ninjutsu

    Rare, Raw, Authentic, Brutal

So Brutal it is not on the internet, Our Government denies their identity (Why I do not know) and Japan still uses that style for assassination believe it or not.

I think it's kinda funny in a way.

  • @AK111X I don't believe it.

  • @therazorsedge555

I didn't either. It totally completely sounds like crap, but so did the platypus 150 or so years ago. And if it is on the internet I haven't found it. In fact that style because it is so rare is to be put into the studies of Bujinkan Ninjutsu if I'm right. Now I don't know if Japan still uses Shinowa for assassination or our government denies it, but I can tell u with honesty Shinowan is still taught as a martial art. U learn to kill if need be, and do it well.

  • @therazorsedge555

And if you don't believe it, well that's your choice and opinion. It does sound dumb when you put it into that way.

  • I am a hater and I want to talk.

  • STUMPS I TELL YOU!!! STUUUUUMMMMPPPPS!

  • I cannot walk away. I lost my legs in 'Nam dillhole. You still have lame arguments. And being I am a tripod with a godan I will kill you with my stumps!!

  • oh yes, one more thing: if there are martial artists among you haters: you are a shame to every martial art in the world! if not: don't talk abotuh things you don't know! you'll never understand anything, so go and waste your own time, not mine!

  • I have been in the ats for over 37 years and i can tell you that EVERYONE has something to teach. Just learn, pratice and enjoy, fighting over who's who is counter productive.

  • You sure do post alot LycanRace....heres the skinny....that last argument made no sense and was retarded. Secondly stop posting so much.

  • @drizzt777 ok, let's keep it short: I'm not gonna discuss anything with you, because you're not worth my attention. I can't learn anything from you, so don't talk to me and simply walk away!

  • Licensed and certified?? By who?? By a con man and a LARPer called Masaaki Hatsumi?? Bujinfools, accept it, you are not ninjas, your shit is everything but ninjutsu.

  • idont know whether to like it or dislike it. the demonstrations are just too soft for me to give a fair opinion on it.

  • @thegr8testraikage They are "too soft" because they are a fake.

  • I have practiced this shit for years, and I boring because they made me be so soft and delicate, that instead of learning, I've declined. There are many teachers who have been criticized by the Bujinkan, because of being too hard in their movements. They said that "this is not the real ninjutsu." Well, that has the real ninjutsu Bujinkan for themselves, because it sucks. I prefer practicing "ninjutsu false" and do something useful.

  • Ninjyutu→Gosinjyutu

    これは身を守る奥儀です。

  • Nagato sensei is really amazing. I've never trained with anyone like him. I've trained with some great fighters and MMA guys, but he's just on a different level. I can't imagine anyone beating him.

  • @gmonkeyman007 defo my fave jap shihan. i heard he gave up judo after being world champion and meeting hatsumi i think about 30-40 years ago. he told me there's a rumour among even the bujinkan that he uses force, and that some visiting shihan avoid his classes because of this rumour, but i think they should find out for themselves. he's a diamond

  • they r playin games?????

  • THIS IS NOT NINJUTSU.

  • @alfonso79able I only got one thing to say to haters like you: hatsumi's bujinkan is the only school in the world, that has the licenes and authority to teach the last 3 remaining ninjutsu schools. hatsumi sensei teaches them along with 6 samurai schools, but he is the legal heir of those 3 remaining ninjutsu styles. if you claim something, you have to porve it!

  • @LycanRace i've heard ppl say that Hatsumi's ninjutsu is false and some jinichi kawakami dude (or something like that) is THE REAL & THE ONLY authentic teacher of ninjutsu. what's your opinion on that?

  • @thegr8testraikage Both of them are frauds, neither them nor Ashida Kim, Dux and others have any proof about their "ninjutsu". Every "sensei" claiming to know and teach ninjutsu is a fraud. Just accept it, ninjutsu is extint today. Look for another martial art.

  • @trollingloverfull where are your references and/or written evidence? as far as I know from here (and I've read almost every composition concerning the authenticity, comparing historical facts and dates and going thorugh it again and again), every claim that hatsumi was a fraud, has been retracted, token back and confuted through calculation and historical documents he or musems were holding.

  • @LycanRace Hatsumi says that he has documents but as far as I know he has never let them being authenticated independently. A fraud usually does that. Besides he has no historical documents, only Takamatsu-made scrolls which are not authentical just because Takamatsu made them. Takamatsu's supposed masters aren't even proven to have existed.

  • @trollingloverfull "as far as you know"...you don't get into the matter much, do you? all opposing opinions were regarding the authenticity of the togakure ryu and the ninjutsu as a "koryu". the ones at the togakure were refuted: it is proven as being historicallly authentic. about the koryu: no real warrior cares, if his art is taken into a 1970's made-up list about whart art is historically tracable. shinobi made it untraceable to outsiders for a reason, you know!

  • @trollingloverfull The koryu list didn't cover the Bujinkan, because Hatsumi combined traditional ninjtsu (out of the last known 3 ryu) with 6 samurai ryu, however ninjutsu itself is covered by it. the only known exemplar of the shōninki is in Japan's national library, Tokyo. The ninpiden and bansenshūkai are apparently in private property. so of course, Hatsumi does not have those! If he had, museums would take them away through national authority.

  • @trollingloverfull To hold historical documents doesn't mean anything! Anyone could buy the shōninki from Japan's national library - that wouldn't make him a ninja at all. Most of the techniques were transmitted by word, not written...for bvious reaons. most ninja simply didn't want to make it to the historical headlines. Hatsumi never claimed to hold a lineage document of teachers and students for there is no such thing!

  • @trollingloverfull just because Takamatsu sensei's scrolls aren't from the edo period doesn't mean they have no historical meaning! No one ever presented 200 year old menkyo kaiden (if you know what that is) with their names written on it, simply because these people din't exist back then. Hatsumi is after all the only one with a certificate (at all) of a man considered to have been of the last shinobi by the people back then.

  • @trollingloverfull and, of course, you are wronged again by information openly accesible to anyone who's willing to learn instead of pointlessly arguing just to pick a fight or show off: Toda Shinryūken Masamitsu is completely proven to have existed and to have been the soke of Togakure Ryu, Kumogakure Ryu and Gyokkushin Ryu Ninjutsu schools because he IS mentioned in these schools' genealogy.

  • @trollingloverfull Did your great great grandparents have written proof of their existence back when they were still alive? Do you hold a historical document with their names on it or does anyone in your family even remember their names? No? That means: YOU DON'T EXIST! I close my case!

  • @LycanRace It's true that some of the schools Hatsumi claims to teach are proven to have existed, what is not proven is that he is in possession of them. If the shinobi's martial arts and schools were so secret, then how could Hatsumi get all the knowledge of them?? There is NO documentation of the 33rd soke of Togakure (rather than what Bujinkan's publications say). And the fact that my ancestors didn't write a proof of their existence doesn't mean the haven't existed...

  • @trollingloverfull ... it only means that I don't know who were they. Who certificated Hatsumi as the last shinobi?? Beyond it's own church of crazy japanophiles and wannabe ninjas, only the emperor did it, and it was because he is a real tourist attraction. Lots of people go to Japan to visit him, therefore contributing to Japan's economy through tourism. That's why the emperor recognized him. Beyond that, NO ONE recognizes Hatsumi as a shinobi.

  • @trollingloverfull PS: Sorry for my bad english. It was "certified" not "certificated". Sorry :P

  • @trollingloverfull no one was ever "oficially" certified to be a ninja, was there? obviously you're just a hater. I don't discuss with haters so please stop talking to me. That doesn't mean I retreat or that you have "won" for there is nothing to win, especially not for you. your ignorance makes me sad. go and do what you want, I'm done with you! you don't want to learn, you want to argue! I don't!

  • @LycanRace Besides, Hatsumi's claims are opposed by historians and researchers who are not linked to Bujinkan. Not even Takamatsu is proven to have been a ninja. Only a martial arts practitioner but not a ninja.

  • @trollingloverfull If he was a ninja he wouldent have said he was a ninja, would he ;)

  • @thegr8testraikage it's very hard to confirm things that were kept secret for hundreds of years. a-f-a-i-k, only Hatsumi ever presented documents written by Takamatsu sensei, proving him to be the legal heir of at least the Togakure(historical status confirmed). The only ones besides Bujinkan I wouldn't question too rashly are Stephen Hayes (Quest Centers) and Carlos Febres (Nindo Ryu Bujutsu Kai) for the same background: Shoto Tanemura (also student of Takamatsu sensei).

  • @thegr8testraikage All the others have been proven to be frauds or NOT to be Ninjutsu schools. I've been examining and researching every written composition I culd get my hands on and trying to confirm the Bujinkan ever since I started training for the most simple reason: I wanted to know if I was learning the real thing. Bujinkan clearly has the most practitioners who do research themselves. That many people (even some historians among them) can't be wrong, I guess.

  • @thegr8testraikage @thegr8testraikage go to wikipedia and searh for "modern schools of ninjutsu". there you can try and confirm or confute for yourself but also take into consideration that there was very little written evidence about shinobi, because they simply were secret organizations. plus: don't give a damn, if the koryu list of martial arts certified any of them. they didn't certify even one ninjutsu school. Ninjutsu isn't meant to be koryu for it was a secret.

  • @thegr8testraikage you should also keep in mind, that those few schools who can be confirmed to have historic reference and/or basis, are all ninjutsu-DERIVED! Only thing you can do is to keep your teachings as close to the original technique as possible. Every modern ninjutsu teacher added modern techniques 'cause lots of the old techniques aren't up to date. Hatsumi combined old&new. to this point, students of Takamatsu (Hatsumi & Tanemura) seem to be the most authentic ones

  • @thegr8testraikage found on yahoo answers: "Fujita Seiko [...](who, by the way, was quoted as saying Ninjutsu was safe in the hand of Takamatsu-sensei. Nice little nod from the guy considered the last soke of Koga-ryu, though many pretenders now claim that title as well)". Seiko is found on the web as heir of the Koga-ryu, when Jinichi Kawakami's teacher Masazo Ishida is not (only proven to have been in the japanese special forces).

  • @thegr8testraikage but like the guy on yahoo answers said: of course, if you're the head of a government covered museum and that museum declares you to be the last "real" ninja, most people would be fooled by that. but it doesn't mean, the government confirmed Kawakami as a ninja, it should only sound official. I'm not sure of what to think of him. The weapons&clothes he uses are pretty authentic, but there's no fighting or technique video to judge on or to compare.

  • @thegr8testraikage Since I didn't stop after my first reply and say "who cares - I've seen it's pretty effective, Hatsumi is the most wise and skilled martial artist I've ever seen and all of my friends and me have fun learning it and keep getting better and better" but instead kept blabbering, I'm obviously not wise at all xD It's just that university taught me to try and do proper scientific research ^^

  • @thegr8testraikage but hey, to make a loooooooong story short: find the right thing for you. you will recognize it: it's the deal that gives you the best and most natural feeling! there are no good or bad martial arts, only good or bad fighters. Let's train together (even if we're a long way from each other), get better and make the world a better place by using our martial arts for good and the right things!

  • @LycanRace You and the Bujinkan are the ones who make claims, so you are the ones who must prove them (what Bujinkan hasn't done)

  • @trollingloverfull not another hater, please! I can't take that shit anymore! to make it short: NO ONE has ever been proven to be a "real" shinobi! there's no state-owned verifying institute or a governmentally acknowledged academy for spies, guerilla warrios and assassins! after all, they were going against the samurai and governmental honor code, so what do you expect? there's no official certificate for secret societies who make their own rules!!!

  • This is very far of real ninjutsu.

  • @alfonso79able and of course: if you are oh so smart and know everything better than thousands of people: tell us, what is "real" ninjutsu? masking yourself, hopping through the forest and mixing tkd and muay thai? because that is what fakes and newbies call ninjutsu.

  • weres the music

  • @BJKninja: Sorry "bro" but my dislike is simple. Credit where credit is due. Not newbies that have taken a few trips to Japan gotten some pics and start making money out of something they think they know. =)

  • @herasmito Actually agree with you =) But even some of those who been training 20-30 years still look like crap. There are very few who are training 20+ years that have any decent amount of skill or knowledge. The newbies are just as bad as the old timers, even 20 years from now its all the same bs.

  • Suppose to brothers in this art and I am seeing some hater aid happening on this page. Great Video though.

  • A lot of Dislikes so what is this about???

  • @gekiryudojo Typical politics ;)

  • WHO ARE SOME OTHER SHIHAN? This is an impressive group but IT REALLY LEAVES OUT QUITE A FEW other pretty incredible instructors, unfortunately. Can you mention some more in your text portion perhaps, it is very interesting to us, we travel a lot and am seeking more. Where are the kunoichi? Thank you.

  • @MidnightDojo Leave out who in particular? Maybe they want to be in the shadows, and not in the spotlight? =) LOL

  • There are many many Shihan that were not mentioned in this video, with a hell of a lot more experience and credentials and that have contributed their life to the Bujinkan. BTW Carbonaro has been a Shihan for less than 2 years? and he is a "top" shihan? Gimme a break!

  • @herasmito peter king is higher than carbonaro too

  • @leogets2006 Indeed, as is Pedro, Arnaud, Jack, Sveneric, Nestor, Willy, Mike, Paul and many many more. But Carbonaro? You see what I mean?

  • @herasmito No, I dont see what you mean. What about Dr. Kacem Zoughari, Ishizuka, Someya, etc.

  • @leogets2006 Doesnt mean he knows any more either

  • @herasmito Get a kit kat bar bro, and take it easy! =)

  • Exellente video!!!!

  • dude holy crap ted lavarias, i know that guy a little, he has trained befor in the dojo that im at

  • @DethMetalNinja1 Very cool. Yeah he visited our dojo after moving back from Japan. I think he moved to Texas now. Hope you get back in touch with him.

  • Hate to be a hater but I see no mutodori and the walking is beginner

  • @ncphillips19 No problem, hope you like the other videos. Actually it may be my fault as the I cut and edited clips, and may not have chosen the best footage. The footage I was using was too show as many senior instructors in every frame, and was not looking at the techniques being performed. My bad...

  • I think one of the downsides to grappeling in Bujinkan is that grappling must be performed with lightening quick precision. But, when performed with insane focus, the art in it's own right is downright fatal for anyone who dares test it's potential.

I hope you do not take my observation as disrespect Shihan Carbonaro. I am but a novice amongst your other novice students.

  • @Keaos0 Yes and no, depending on the situation and environment. Taking proper distance can actually increase the time you have to respond. Assuming you have room to take proper distance. If not, then as you said, you need to train well, and be precise. Also training in martial arts increases your awareness, and reflexes. Train well and train consistently. (-Amir)

  • where do i get my ninja license? wal mart sells fishing and hunting licenses..

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana LoL...dude low blow TKO =D
