  • Is this a Pink Toe or a relative of it? :)

  • @JimYOyaboonmii The metallic pink toe is Avicularia metallica, this is Avicularia versicolor. They are in the same genus but they are different species, so to answer your question, it is a relative of the metallic pink toe. (I have a 5" adult female A. metallica, I would love to get my hands on an A. versicolor, they are gorgeous.)

  • whats wiv the shite music

  • Beautiful spider. Your video has perfect angles and shots. It could be a little better quality, but the great shots make up for it.

  • is the bedding vermiculite?

  • I want one....

  • sony ericsson video DJ XD

  • dude get a real camara know one wants to watch this garbage. P.s nice veris lol

  • 0:33 "Dont mind me, Im just gonna walk over... GOTCHA!"

  • Anybody know what this music is???

  • @IntrepidMoocher the music is shitty thats what it is lol. videos cool though

  • Having venom and being venomous to humans aren't the same. Tarantulas DO have venom, but are NOT considered dangerous to humans, unless you have allergies, similar to those with allergies to bees and wasps or even ants. Some tarantulas, including the african species, have a stronger venom so the effects can last longer, but the effects are normally pain and swelling. In extreme cases with the old world species, a bite may cause symptoms of pain for a longer period, but you shouldn't fear them :D

  • what a beaut :)

  • What an excellent specimen

  • a blue spider ? the real tachikomas !

  • @bladerj

    look up poecilotheria metallica

    thats electric blue and yellow!!!

  • the beautiful. is he poisonous? cus most colorfull animals in the wild are.

  • @xoxYourMommyxox Most tarantulas are venomous, but not all are aggressive. Usually, their first defense is to flee, or kick hairs. If that doesn't work, they'll bite. Avicularia Versicolor, or Antilles Pinktoes, are generally good tarantulas for beginners. They're cooperative for handling and are generally not aggressive. Sutanc, that tarantula is gorgeous! Congratulations on the little one! :)

  • @Chowlini umm i dont think any tarantulas venom is strong enough to kill a human. so he shouldnt worry about them being poisonous.

  • @MrShadyspots I'm aware. That doesn't mean, however, that you shouldn't be worried about getting bitten. People can have different reactions to the venom that can cause it to be deadly to the individual, you never know.

  • hey i have one comming this thursday!! cant wait whats the common name for this? also how do ya take care of?

  • im new to the tarantula hobby, but forgive me, that doesnt look like an a. versicolor to me. arent they suppose to have purple and pink hair on their toes and a reddish abdomen and greenish blue carapace?

  • this is beffor sub adult this is still young soon it will molt and the blue will be gone leaveing it to be green with red and purple abdomen and legs

  • cool. i didnt know they change color. kinda a shame, the blue looks better.

  • @silverfeatherwerewol the blue is gorgeous but i love my purple and red adult

  • @newspapertruck matter of opinion. i prefer the blue color phase.

  • OMG this music is SO awesome!

    LMFAO

  • that is a beautiful spider... what spiece is it

  • A different color of pink toe.

  • Like Pickle said. Damn you're fucking dumb. Antillean Pink Toe.

  • beautful T i like veryy much nice music too

  • I have a Camaroon Red is what the pet guy told me it was, i changed its water today and it hissed insanely its just a baby but still seems very un friendly and im just trying to be nice. not picking it up at all until we get a better friendship i feed her everyday change her water everyday her tank is at a nice 70 degrees. her tank is massive she has tons of room to run around even tho shes more slow moving than anything. i was thinking of getting a green bottle blue. put em in the same tank?

  • never put 2 tarantulas in the same tank yuo'll end up with one or none

  • Are you just trying to get attention you DUMB FUCK? Seriously. If you're serious you don't even need to own the one you have. I hope it nails the fuck out of your stupid ass one day.

  • no way dont ever put 2 turantulas in one.. they are born canibals... you will walk in one day and have one huge T and the other one gone lols.. it probably hisses at you couase your changing the watter and fucking with the tank too much reduce changing the watter and feeding to alot lot less then everyday. dont try and handle her untill shes a little older and dont fuck with the tank so much that stresses them out. do a lot more research into your Ts befor you buy them.

  • actually you can keep two avics together if the

    enclosure is big enuf

  • thats not right!!! like raptiosaur said you can keep 2 in one enclosure even up to 4 or 5 if it is big enough! avics got a kind of social behavior if they are together! but i only know that of Avicularias!

  • casio keyboard music. sweet

  • amazin color at that!!

  • Are they only blue when they're young?

  • yes they are only at that color till around 2" then they get an amazing mix of colors that can be red, green, blue. do some search in google: Avicularia versicolor. i do think its the most beautiful tarantula around =) (just my opinion)

  • Haha I'd have to agree, next to the Cobalts and some of those sapphire Indian Ornamentals.

  • wow its blue

  • wow blue spider ooo nice 5/5

  • wow beautiful colors!

  • what prey item is that at 1.14-1.28? also what size is your versi sutanc? i have one and noticed yours is starting to get adult colouration.

  • Wow I love these - They grow really hairy too! I was thinking of buying an L1 spiderling from a friend but I've heard they're hard to raise to adulthood. Would you recommend it? I cant find any older slings anywhere!

I lost my b. vagans spiderling in a molt a few months ago and wouldn't want to lose another! :(

  • a blue spider? ok thats weird lol spiders alone r scary enough, let alone a blue one!

must admit its pretty cool looking tho

  • i love those damn colors how much do they cost

  • ive just recently bought one to add to my collection, a spiderling cost me £14 including postage. for an adult (dont forget the adults change colour) would cost 40ish +

  • in canadian dollars a spiderling costs 40$ and an adult female is 150

  • What a beautiful s'ling! How old was this pretty baby when the video was taken?

I want one of these SO badly! Anyone have a spare they would sell??

  • to jest hyba najpiękniejszy pająk świata!!!!

też takiego będe mial narazie mam avicularia metalica, brahypelma smithi

  • Mine has just got out those colours :( It's more green and red now still pretty though.

  • NOW THAT IS GORGEOUS avicularia versicolor.

  • What is that music from again???

  • Do

kefir5 Taaaa. To Sony Ericson, tą debilną melodyjkę poznam nawet na końcu świata.

  • Stop feeding it wild caught food. 1 out of 4 wild caught insects have nematodes which will grow in the tarantulas abdomen and eventually kill it if it eats an insect with nematode/s

  • would that actually be inaccurat.....it would depend on where you live.

Nematodes require moisture to thrive, and i have seen several pet stores that keep feeders in terrible filthy situations that can indeed have nematodes as well.

  • very beautiful spider, I can't wait to get a versicolor of my own!

  • wiem że masz sony ericsson XD

  • very nice color, almost like the cobalt blue!

  • beautiful. ive always wanted an a.versicolor. i have an avic. avic.
