  • is that marchtime or contiuos

  • Does anyone know the alarm that has a sound like this with a hi lo tone in the background?

  • this brings back memories back in kiddie school, from the monthly fire drill

  • 7002t bell :D

  • Dosen't sound like a 7002t fire alarm

  • My middle school has those and they were loud and it was pulled one time during passing time by a student.

  • Sounds a bit loud for a 7002t

  • Dude how did you get those? Sound like the ons in my school just louder.

  • Hey, I got it from eBay. If you search for Wheelock or Simplex fire alarms, you will get tons of results. There might be some 7002T's left if you are lucky.

  • @JDMowerMan1998 What model ?

  • my violin sounded like that when the string was loose.

  • I grew up as a kid hearing these go off in school during fire drills, in fact when I was 4 years old I set one off, "Um F.I.R.E Pull Okay" pull sure enough It went off just like that

  • quick question. i though of this cool idea. is there a way to take a standard residential smoke alarm(white circle ones) and wire it with a (or any) commercial fire alarm device? so its like a super loud and exciting smoke alarm?

  • you could, but make sure the voltage is correct. also, make sure that you have a smoke detector as well.

  • @DolphinAMD I've done this, it is fun, but dangerous, as it caught fire, which was ironic, and burned me severely.

  • or you could try 2 12 volt batteries if you have them

  • Sounds pretty good. 5/5

  • thanks!

  • I have a 3rd 9v battery, but i'm not sure if 27v is safe for the alarm.

  • edddieeedieeddie13 managed to power his 7002T-12 at 24 volts ant still works (except the strobe). 18 volts was safe for the 7002T-12

  • when i ordered my alarm, i went around my house, end to end, and looked at all the transformers on all the electronics that i could find. i eventually found one from a scanner that doesnt really work. the end was a coaxial cable, so i stuck one wire inside it (positive) and electrical taped another wire around the outer part (negative). this worked really well for a really simple power supply.

  • you could put a 6 volt lantern battery with the two 9 volts, and you would get full 24 volts for it.

  • The beginning: the alarm sounds weak until the first strobe flash

  • Can you power it at maximum voltage.
