  • God...I remember them rehearsing in the next room to my band Harlequyn in about 1985...some song that went "Reach out and touch" ...over and over again....hehe....(I still have one of their speaker cabs.)

  • please tell your children, this is goth not the other way around, and dress the kids in some kind of fashion, long black coats, doc martins, and black net, ripped t shirt is always cool no matter what decade ur in

  • i was at this gig most excellent

  • now, if they could just soldier their way stateside, wouldn't that be sumthin? Haven't seen Violets since 1986 in Long Beach, CA at Fenders with Flesh for Lulu....at that time, Rosie and Si were gone, so seeing Tom (again), Rosie and Si would be most epic!

  • tuned in turned on and burnt my bum 25 years ago........leeds poly 1986

  • Great song, Great Band

  • This is my favourite Violets song, and I was lucky enough to be there at this gig.

    Amazing.

  • Lucky you I wish i'd been there! they were supposed to play the WGT but they cancelled ;( shame.

  • Were was it ?

  • OMFG!! I wish I could have been there. The March Violets were definately one of the BEST bands in the 80's. Do you all remember the intricate album covers they designed? In addition their music was increadibly emotional and cutting edge. I still have all their 7", 12" and LPs from back then. I am jealous of whomever was able to attend this show!!!

  • Good to see Simon back here!!!

  • Wow thank you they were the best band of the 80s my fav this song was my life i loved it fantastic
