could you image if Letterman and Chris got invited to the same party of important people! Totally obnoxious. That film they did together was too obnoxious.
@castingtherunes But he's been on the show for over 25 years ! all through the early 80's NBC/GE days who else has been on the show as a guest comedian that long?
Chris Elliott mimics Jack Hanna as he brings out a "Rastafarian Snow Leopard" actually, a rabbit in swimming trunks. Anyone have this? Please upload very funny bit.
5-31-2010. Nifty, nifty, Chris is 50. Happy Birthday, Chris. I hope that you can come to my area and perform sometime (Stokie's, Greenwood, SC). Think about it. And many happy returns.
He's always been a 5/95 guy. He would rather do what he wants to do, which is to make Dave, himself and about 5% of the public laugh. I'm just glad I'm part of the 5. I love going back to his old "Brando" clips from the 80's Letterman shows, and reading the comments from people who have no clue what he's doing.
i saw him in cracy about mary and king of queens and the jim belushi tv series , did he ever had a major movie ? i read about he fugitive guy , was that a major tv series , well known for everyone in the usa , years ago ?
'The Fugitive Guy' was just a running gag on 'Late Night with David Letterman', it was never a real TV series but Chris did star in his own TV show in the early 1990s called 'Get a Life'. If you haven't seen it, it's a MUST! There are a few episodes posted here on YouTube.
Oh My God! Chris Elliot and Gerard Mulligan are great! Truely priceless! Absolutely brilliant!
Have a great day, a great night, a great week, a great month, a great winter, a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and a Happy New Decade! All the best in 2010 and beyond! Puerto Rican Love from New York City!
LOVE 4:16 with his flab hanging over his pant's waist! Chris is tops; never afraid to look less than his very best to get a laugh. Very very smart man, I have no doubt of that either; and I think he is very sexy (anyone that smart is sexy). It was a sad day in my life when "Get A Life" went bye bye. Please, Chris....get "A New Show"!!! Your fans will be forever grateful.
You gotta love Skink for keeping it real, so to speak. You really don't want to use those twenty dollar words around that simple-minded Dave Letterman from Idaho. And you don't want to win those evening gown competitions in La Meh-Hico', either.
This is the old Chris as I remember him, from the 80's on Letterman, to Get a Life, to Cabin Boy, and now the Great Chris is back. The guy is a comic genius!!
It's difficult for anyone who wasn't around in the 80s to appreciate just how new Letterman's (and Elliot's) brand of humor was. All young people are the imitators--e.g., Jon Stewart, whom I like, but whose whole comedic persona is a variation on Letterman irony.
Hey, I liked your link of Stern and Stuttering John with Chevy Chase. Boy, that was a classic encounter. I guess they're buddies now, though. Do you listen to Howard on Sirius?
could you image if Letterman and Chris got invited to the same party of important people! Totally obnoxious. That film they did together was too obnoxious.

You're right. I wish Letterman had kept his later time slot, getting more bitter and edgier with each passing year.
