Unfortunately, someone hasn't invented a time machine yet that can modify outdated jokes as they appeared back then. It's like making a joke about MJ in 2005 when he was accepted as a freak, but then people watch it a month after he died and say, "Oh, that's not cool..." even though they probably thought it was funny back then as well.
