clone troopers were never necessarily "republic". if you look at it, the CIS and the "Republic" were basically on the same side. sidious had a bit of control in the CIS, and was chancellor of the "republic". those were the two opposing sides of the war. he then became the emperor, so that the sith could once again rule the galaxy, and... well... i guess he just favored clones. i mean, in all honesty, imagine how many of those deployment droid tanks from episode 1 are left??

You know these guys were part of a convention or something. If they weren't they'd probably have people standing around laughing. That's what's great about conventions. You can go dressed up as your favorite character from whatever the convention's about, and no one will look down on you. In fact, people stand around talking about how cool the costume is.

@overpwnage17 ive read the old starwars comics and jango fett was a bounty hunter yes, but hee,s son bobba fett was a mandalorian elite soldier in the clone order (nefore being a bounty hunter himself), alongside others, ther all had the green armor, when mandalorian was was done only 3 was left. bobba fett and 2 others. one of them died in the comics. and no the clones where led by the senate. not the jedi, its why the councill (the emperor) could change ther orders. to order 66,

@overpwnage17 tho the jedis served as generals in the army, the clones still have to serve to the leaders order. which was the senate. the clones who didnt followed orders would be killed. try play starwars battlefront 2 , in story mode, from the 501st legions story, they didnt liked killing the jedi, as the teller says (a clone) about the jedi ther died on felucia, he said ( i hope she died quickly and whitout pain) or so, they didnt liked ther orders, but a soldier has to follow orders.
