Most hadiths attributed to the prophet are fake. There is good reason to ditch them all. Music and singing are notharam in Islam at all. The law comes from the Quran and from nowhere else and Quran doesn't prohibit music.
And all those Muslims who abuses Molvi's should remember that these are the Molvi's who read the sermon of their parent's wedding, and they are the one who will lead their Namaz-e-Janazah.
Before abusing Molvi's, go to the nearest mosque, meet the Paish Imaam (the one who lead the Namaz-e-Bajamaat) spend 5 minutes with him and I can assure your opinion will change Insha Allah.

According to Ahadees, music is totally haraam in Islam. I used to listen a lot of music, I literally had mp3s on 100s of GBs (giga bytes). But then I found a few Ahadees-e-Nabawi (S.A.W) and found the truth, I no longer listen music.
As claimed by many people that music is food of soul: with the grace of Allah (S.W.T), my soul hasn't died due to abandoning music, and I feel much lighter without music.
these so called mullahs are fascist dogs... worse than the german nazis. they should be hanged for imposing their view on others and killing so many innocent people. theres no place for them in pakistan. fuckin afghan imports of the worst kind. lets drive these dogs out of our home!
i really had vague ideas about Islam, but i watched this movie recently - Khuda ke liye, an eye-opener! I mean all these petty issues anti-music n all, it forces ppl to think Islam is a highly conservative religion. When actually its not; its a way of life just like Hinduisim!
@blooddye : yes ! agree ! that movie is a real eye opener ! i am not a Muslim ... but i do not believe that any religion in this world teaches you to be violent , kill , sin ! some followers have taken up non relevant issues under the name of Islam to make it look like a conservative religion !
