232000 and then next two are one finger barre chords on the bottom three strings like: xxx333 and xxx555

for two i just mute the top three strings with the same finger i chord with

Midnite Vultures and Modern Guilt are my two favorite Beck albums. I don't think Modern Guilt is "mainstream" a bit though. In fact, I've never heard a remotely mainstream song from the man. His music is consistently legit. Every album is unique , which is why Beck never gets old - to me at least. Give MG another try.
