Beautiful!! :) amazing quartet, and i especially like the piccolo because i play it in my band, and i also play flute. and also piccolo is really hard to tune but nice job here! :)

I'm in concert and marching band, I'm only a sophmore, but I've noticed in marching when people memorize things they forget important dynamics and accents. In concert I practice the difficult runs and memorize them, but my music is filled with reminders that I need. So I memorization isn't key to playing. Usually I just practice so much I end up memorizing.

@tsadrummer first of all, it's their not there. Learn your there they're and theirs. I did in first grade :D Anyway, of course they aren't faking idiot. I play flute, I have been since 4th grade. Anyway, they are definitly not faking. You can tell. I played in a ensemble before too, nice work Flutes....^^

@tsadrummer Its concert music, u dont HAVE too nor SHOULD you try to memorize. Professionals and new comers all use the sheet whether they think they memorize it or not.

woaw the piccolo is really far too shrill, and it sounds really strange.

A guy in my school did this as a flute solo for our school concert last week, he was amazing, i was fascinated. I think he played it a little faster though. x

NEVER USE A SILVR PICCOLO IN A CONERT SETTING. It's way too shrill, and it's quite obvious here.

i agree - though the camera's quality picking up the sound doesn't help either. She's not a piccolo player (she's a flautist) so her sound isn't how it should be - and hence why the scale part had to be slowed down! :/

I think your tone is wonderful!

(But- don't take my opinion to heart- flute isn't my instrument. I'm clarinet/bass clarinet and I happen to like bass better so upper registers aren't really my thing)

I played this for a wind quartet (flute, oboe, clarinet, and bass clarinet). It's one of our favorite songs to play, but the version we have is different because we don't have the piccolo part. Excellent job!

as a matter of a fact, I am in flute ensemble at my school and we are playing An Irish Suite which includes the Galway Piper!! So I know how to play it. I love this song!! Great job. I also have a piccilo. I might buy it after my 4 months of renting are done.
