  • interesting fingering..

  • A beautiful rendition of this difficult piece. The rich bass of the harpsichord is a delicious sound and Ms Shao senses many beautiful fugal harmonies. Gorgeous!

  • A beautifully played performance of Bach´s most difficult work ever written.

Every note is in place. Congratulations.

  • @mrmolinodelahoz

Are you serious ? This Capriccio is easy compared to works such as his Italian concerto in F....

  • @LiamNimrod Why dont you post a video of yourself paying it so we can how easy it is?

  • @iansdigby

Lol, clearly you are not a musician and haven't heard his Italian concerto. But fine, give me two weeks or so and I'll have a recording of this Capriccio on Youtube.

  • @LiamNimrod Hi Liam! Just noticed it's been 3 weeks now....

  • the timbre of this harpsichord is quite strange. I'm wondering if it's a matter of tuning

  • @cozmagl the difference between the piano and harpsichord is that the piano has hammers (strings are hit by those), while the harpsichord has some sort of a needle, that makes the string buzzle, generating that "crispy" sound.

  • "capriccio" means he used unconventional compositional techniques (such as a melody using intervals of the 10th and 11th, unusual use of variation, etc) it is an apotheosis of the strange ideas that develop in the previosu movements.

  • No wonder it's an "exercise in concentration" - it looks like a complete struggle from start to end in her hands.
