VO2 max training with kettlebells done according to Kenneth Jays VWC protocol does not mean you do 80 sets (40 minutes) each workout. First you must determine the appropriate load and pace which elicits a VO2 max response (a.k.a. "intensity")... then you increase the duration that you can keep performing at said intensity (volume). Once you achieve 80 sets you start over by re-testing, lowering the volume, adjusting the intensity upward rinse and repeat.
summary: work more crap out of yourself every single day for as long as you live and you have the highest V02 max.
