  • We're watching this in English! It's amazing! Especially with Tom Cruise in it. ;)

  • Think about reuploading part 1. Then in the description state that it is for non-profit and to advance in knowledge aka 'Title 17 U.S.C. section 107 of the US Copyright Law'

  • man I wish this can actually happen later on in my life :)

  • where is part 1?

  • @wjoycek Excellent question, I suppose its up your ass, thanks to YouTube.

  • precrime devision lol...worst invention in movie history

  • How is it that this upload doesn't infringe in any copyright laws?

  • @islanderzero how indeed? SHHHHHH

  • god i love the visual effects on this movie

  • Bah, future murder is the same damn thing as attempted murder.

  • how can they arrest that poor guy..his wife was cheating on himk

  • This is so sci-fi lol

  • Where's part 1

  • Spielberg's films depressive

  • So Youtube wants to take every movie uploaded away from us? haha they are fools! we're just watching movies! oh wait copyrights? what am I doing wrong by enjoying a good movie?

  • you know how blind i am without my glasses.....

  • @TheGotikEngel not as blind as tha dope dealer,

  • Isn't this pre-crime thing one massive paradox? I mean, if the pre-cogs see what's destined to happen, i.e. a murder, and then Cruise stops it, surely him stopping it would become that future, so the pre-cogs should see only an attempted murder, not an actual murder. But then, it was only foiled in the first place because they saw the actual murder, so how...

You know what. Let's just stop fucking with time.

    Shit be complicated.

  • @jbobthebandit

Pre-cogs only have visions of murders that are going to happen, which is very clearly explained in the movie. They can't see visions of suicide or assault or even rape. Only murders. You can compare it the with precognitive visions that Alex sees in Final Destination. He sees the vision of his flight exploding, not him and his friends escaping.

Precogs see only future murders, not future events like stopping a murder.

  • @macadom222 actually they can se more than just murders that are going to happen. If you remember the scene with Anderton and Agatha walking through a mall, she warns him to grab an umbrella and offer the homeless man change so the precrime cops will trip over him

  • shut up evana lol

  • Makes no fucking sense.

IT'S STILL ATTEMPTED MURDER. The future is written, which means he was meant to be stopped. The actual murder was in an alternate timeline, which is clearly what the pre-cogs see. There's no reason he should be arrested for ACTUAL MURDER.

  • @S1deshowRobP5 Thats a good point,. i suppose what the police are actually doing by stopping the murder is creating a new timeline. Attempted murder is what happened. A future murder is just an abstract idea that cant be relied upon for prosecution.

  • @S1deshowRobP5

If they didn't stop him he would have become a MURDERER.They stopped him only because of the precogs. He wasnt MEANT to be stopped. What the precrime units did was just change the future. Just because they caught him doesn't mean that guy wasn't going to kill them.

The future isn't WRITTEN . this film only says that the future CAN be changed.

Btw, Cruise said he was placing him under arrest for FUTURE murder.

  • @macadom222 Missing the point...

  • @S1deshowRobP5

    Mine?

  • Missing part 1?

  • Propaganda sucks! (4:47-5:58)

  • If they really could predict that a "crime of passion" would take place, common sense (and righteous thinking) would implicate those who caused this intense passion in the first place. In this case, the criminal is the victim. I guess there is no morality in the future of this world as Hollywood sees it either is there?!

  • @egknight26 That's exactly what this film is about. Pre-crime gives us an insight as to how much privacy and morality remains and how it is concieved with the vast ammount of technology taking over like a flood.

  • @egknight26 agreed. this unrealistic pre crime thing should have been applied to the adulteress wife.

  • Unfortunatly we aint flyin yet....

  • I really like the digital newspapers in this movie. especially when the UPDATE message came up on peoples tabloids on Tom Cruise's character

  • Funny that a lot of things in this movie in terms of technology, we are getting close to it.

  • I've seen this movie 8 times!!

  • it looks lik Equilibrium..

  • uhhhhhh wheres part 1 :(

  • this shit would be crazy lol

  • 8:28

  • 2054 and yet fashion, furnishing and hairstyle looks like it's from the late 20th century.

Only technology seems to have much thought into it. Why are films based in the future rarely show us a glimpse of the artistic side of society?

  • why is it called future murder lol its more like attempted murder which does happen anyways in the real present world

  • @gadigadigadigadi

You're such a douche bag libtard, the ONLY reason why the murders don't happen is because Cruise jumps through a window or something and stops it.

  • Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759

  • @starguy2718

True but Franklin made that statement before cereal boxes had animated characters on them.

  • that bitch deserves a halo too

  • woot! yay!

  • The legal term is "attempted murder."

  • attemtped murder is when you did the crime but they survive

  • true, what this movie is about is conspiracy to COMMIT murder. This would make any sense though in modern time as an offender needs to be convicted of both mens rea and actus reus in order to be convicted of a serious offence

  • A lot of the technology in this movie is already for sale!

  • Sony Ericsson have developed a phone with this kind of screen.

    Multitouch is now mainstream.

Yes, I agree, we have most of the technology.

Not everything, but most of it.

  • sweeeet, I just hope boob tube doesn't make you take it off!

  • LOL! Agreed.

  • i am currently trying to find an internet connection that is stable enough to post my videos. as soon as i do, i will have many more movies and the rest of this up there.

  • You are cool as they come..and have great taste in movies. May I suggest, If you have not already read it...Future of Man and Machine...
