@Najay8701love Perhaps she is the mother now and she's running back to her baby. Then again maybe when she sings to her 'baby' she's talking about her lover...In any case, I would take a guess that she doesn't want whoever her 'baby' is to feel alone like she does and she's 'coming home' to them.

liz mitchell get on my nerves, because she runs around saying that she was the only one singing in th studio recordings of Boney M, and she acts if th success of the group is owned to her vocals..marcia barrett and other backing vocals sang also in the boney m recordings...i do not like this woman

em liz sang on 98% of all the recordings marcia was hardly used in the studio i am not saying she did nothing but liz was always needed she sold the records rivers/brown girl/marys...... you play any bm track and its her unique voice you hear that is fact she was the voice of bm

A very young Liz Mitchell this is, apparently unexperienced and ahead of a lot of singing lessons. Yet whatever you can say of the technical imperfections of her singing, it's a breathtaking rendition of one of the most beautiful negro spirituals.

Seeing the Les Humphries Singers again takes me back to my young days - they do an excellent backing.
