  • For people that are unfamiliar, and then seeing thins with the concentration you need to pull it off it definitely looks hard to do. The close up helps understand the concept of concentration. That's the kind of video that needs to be shared to show how easy it is not. Hope that makes sense.. Good job ladies.

  • This is very straighty up, but it isnt that high. To get extra height, your back should grab the flyer's ankles and pull up, instead of putting her hands underneath. although, before trying to power one up, you may want to make sure your flyer is ready to go higher than normal. MUCH higher.

  • They are standing wrong, if you're a base and your back is bent over like that it would hurt, I know from experience. And you don't toss with your arms, you toss with you legs.

  • the backspot isnt supposed to hold the but in the loading stance.. im a backspot myself and my team figured out u get higher baskets when the backspot grabs the waist (first bounce) both ankles (second bounnce) and bounce again(third bounce) nd than throw as hard as u can then catch:)

  • BASE tips. keep your back straight when dipping, and boost up with all your energy, and FOLLOW YOUR FLYER nomadder what your doing.

    BACK tips. push VERY hard on your flyers butt. but you have to get UNDER her. also make sure your as powerful loading her in as you are pushing it. it helps.

    FRONT tips. make sure u dont take her foreward.. make sure ur just as powerful as the bases..and lift UP.. not over your head and behind you.

  • Your flyer, uhh when she comes down it doesnt look like she grabbing her bases around the neck enough. If something were to happen to the back spot and she wasnt able to catch her then the flyer would hurt herself. Thats why she has to hold her bases correctly.

  • To have a clean complete ride to the top, bases keep your backs straight and use nothing but the leg muscles your momma gave you!(: When you lean over your having to fling your backs back. When your backs are straight you have a clean ride when throwing her which helps with back injuries as well. It helps to fling the wrists and jump with the throw.

  • @HolidayCheerDeer If you're new to flying you shouldn't do basket tossses. You should have a Full Extension Cradle first. You should tightly ride straight up, and when you feel like you're going back down go into a pike.

  • I would say a pretty girl basket or a pike. You can also do a tuck basket - straight ride, tuck and arch.

  • So a straight ride is the easiest basket and what's the second easiest...

  • We don´t push the butt, the flyer has to hold her weight by herself - they get lazy when you help them. But thanks for your comment :-)

  • @TheCheerfreak14 xoUmbrella22 is right, it goes higher when you push under. Not only that but you are actually NOT supposed to push from the butt for many reasons, the least being that it teaches the flyer poor habits. You can look it up on USASF's (US all-star federations) website under the all star gym ower/coach credentialing section :)
