iPod won't restore! Please help!

@pullalex321 if it comes up with the thing saying cannot be restored just ignore it, look down the colum and find the subject thing called 'Devices' click that and You will see a button near the middle of the page called 'Restore' click it and wait for it to complete.

justdownload the jailbreak to your ipod then it will automatically go back reagular then go to cydia then go to manage then go to where you can delete data then delete all that stuff if you run into something that says this could delete or damage cydia delete that after u have delete all the themes and stuff after you deleted all the themes delete winterboard then it will delete then it will say reboot system or some stuff then do it then it will delete

Make sure you have an up to date iTunes

Open iTunes

Turn your iPod off

While holding home(DON'T LET GO), plug the USB/Sync cable in.

Keep holding that home button until the screen comes up with the iTunes logo

Let go of home button immediately

Once your computer recognizes your iPod, It will tell you your iPod NEEDS to be restored

My computer was not recognizing the iPod until I restarted my computer

i had the same problem

1.If you downloaded Wi-Fi Sync from Cydia remove it

2.Turn off your Ipod

3.After its turned off,connect it to iTunes

4.Restore and Update

look, i jailbroke my friends ipod 2nd gen using greeposion, i used my 4th gen on l1mera1in, but now when i connect mine, it says " itunes could not connect to this ipod because and unknown error has occured(0xe......) but when i connect my friends, it says "ipod guest" and work all perfect

3.hold home for 5 seconds exactly,

4.plug it in at 5 seconds and keep holding home.

5.it should show the connect to iTunes logo

6.iTunes will detect an iPod in restore

7.Click OK then click Restore

8. You have successfully restored

Try to Press Menu/Middle Button until it Reboots. If this dose not work Press Menu/Middle Button until it Reboots

angain. Once you see the Apple logo press Middle/Play&Pause button then you will be in DiskMode. Conect you Ipod to iTunes and you shoud be able to Restore it.

My iPod touch 4G had to do a update just like Safari. 30 mins later it said to shut down and it did but before it did it said to unplug or whatever. Before I could say yes my laptop shut down. My iPod just freezin and than told me to plug it back in but it says ever time I need to reinstall iTunes. How do I fix it and will I have all my songs and apps back? Thank you! :D

I fixed it. All you need to do is restore it back while its jailbroken. That was pretty risky though.

Here's what you do if u can't restore maybe it's becase ur firmware cannot be found. Go to felixbrunz.de to search for a firmware

Do that lastly but now go to your control panel and re-install your iTunes because that could be the potential problem if this works message me back on my page
