@tebbed This happened to me too. All you need to do is got to the coontrol panel, type in device click sound and disable the microphone.

it doesn't work !! look i have connected my white , yellow red wire from my console to easycap and when i go on ulead i can see the the screen but theres no sound ,, i go on the settings i click usb emp and the screen goes off but when its on microphone mode the screen is on? can some one help me please ??

Seriously, if you want sound, the easiest way is to buy a 5 dollar dual av to single 3.5 female to male plug at Radio Shack, and input the audio through your Audio Input, it even works with FME ;)

I have a cable with a audio jack and the red and white cable at the the end.

1. put the audio jack in your mic jack

2. put the red and white jack in your tv output

3. let your recording software chose to record via mic

Also, Mine is not viewing the Microphone, do I need a microphone connected? This may be related to my previous comment, so just check the CPU type and why does yours say USB Audio Device? My Device Manager displays SMI Grabber Device, so uhh.. I don't know if mine is a different device or otherwise it is setup incorrectly. Please respond to my comments.

I have encountered some problems with the EasyCap, whenever we set it to record the game audio, we can't hear it while we're recording, and there's a delay between the button presses and the registration of the button presses. If we set to record only commentary, there's no audio lag, but we want the game audio but no input lag. Could anybody help with this matter? It's kinda urgent.

Also, the text is so small when your playing off your laptop to where u cant even read anything. You shouldnt buy a easycap for playing off your laptop, you should buy a easycap for recording gameplay.
