i have a blue and gold... he lets me pet it.. but would refuse 2 stand on my hand... it just screams when i try...does any1 have any tips so i can teach it to be able 2 stand on my hand?
@5alidal Work with him. Try just talking to him and petting him for a while and as he gets more comfortable with you (and trusting of you) he will eventually come around. It takes time and patience to work with birds :-) I have 2 Blue and golds myself :-)
una curiosità, io ho avuto (purtroppo per 1a sola settimana) un amazzone cubano. Dal momento che abito in condominio e ho già sul balcone una roba come 18 inseparabili mi aspettavo che come pappagallo di grossa taglia facesse casino.. però una volta portato a casa mi urlava.. in modo disumano (che rimbombava per tutto il quartiere!) alle 6 del mattino, dopo pranzo e verso le 7 di sera.. Mi domando: ma l'ararauna fa TANTO casino o è "sopportabile" dal vicinato?
io sono un allevatore....allevo pappagalli... l'ara continua ad essere il mio sogno... ora il massimo che ho sono due coppie di calopsiti delle quali una beccata a mano....
