Hey everyone I just wanna let you know tonight God changed my life when I asked him to show me who I truly am. That is I love Him :) with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. Its wonderful and you know I wanna live everyday like how I am feeling now which is with joy! I ask for prayers to stand strong when my friends don't like the change. Just for a quick background I'm a party kid and I wanna make a change. Your prayers would be wonderful for me right now and God bless everyone!
@HeAdup2HatErs HI AND WELCOME TO THE FAMILY! I know that feeling, I am now 59 yrs young and have been smoke and alcohol free for many yrs now and know what its like to be a party person. I used to be one. But praise be to my God, my Lord Jesus gave His life for me and saved me. Now I live for Him on a daily basis. Its one of the hardest and most rewarding roads you will enjoy traveling on. God bless you and I'll keep you in my prayers daily! I pray He gives you wisdom,strength.

A better question to ask when referring to suffering is how could we appreciate God and be grateful for the things he provides us with like Love,Joy,Peace & self-control if we had not known Hate,Sorrow,Chaos & a lack of self-control by this meaning all suffering in this world is a must because we are imperfect and have to learn our way back to God how could we even tell the difference between what is right and wrong if we had not experienced them both?What is70yrs but a 1second test in eternity?
Hi Seitz, God is amazing and suffering can be tough. Its thru these dark times though that his light seems to shine the brightest. I love this song. For alot of us its easy to praise the Lord when everything is going right, but how about in the dephs of our suffering, or when we lose things that are so close to our hearts? I think the Lord is showing me this in all my suffering.Its tough =)

Chris Tomlin (even though this is song is actually sung by Tree63) is an incredibly gifted musician and I don't know how anyone could ever come to view him like you do. His work is changing lives and God is speaking truth through Him. I hope that you come to believe and care about this eventually.
