With these table you can stare at your screen the whole time and not give away any tells, it'll ask if you want to call the amount already and says when its on you. You only need the occasional glance at the Community Cards. It ruins the game of poker, if I wanted to play electronically I would play online. Oh wait, can't even do that anymore.

I hate electronic tables.... if u want to play on a machine while playing poker then either play poker online or player on the pokerview online (which is with webcams) But going to a actual casino and playing on a video screen at a table full of real ppl is just plain stupid.....This is not poker anymore, this is the digital age and i hate it!

They have these at Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. It's a cool mix of playing online, but with people right there. The tables have a rake, and some have suggested that they're weighted to give winning cards to aggressive players (the thinking being that aggressive players bump up the pot, leading to larger rakes) - but I can't substantiate this claim. Plus, tight aggressive poker players tend to get more pots anyway.

I love chip shuffling as much as the next guy, but this table is actually pretty cool.

Would see a fuck-ton of more hands per hour, and can see exactly how deep all the stacks are without having to ask or guess.

I wonder if they took the time to think about what other players see, when you "click" the screen... I mean, an observant opponent could know where your hands hover before actually clicking (i.e. a "tell" about your initial gut instinct)
