Sometimes I do forget what I intended to say about a film and hope that's something I get better with as I make more videos, I assure you I wasn't drunk though! I still had to drive home after making that video.

I liked that it was open-ended... you didn't really get told if the people changed their ways after he left. I assumed they didn't but maybe that's because I'm a little cynical, an optimist might have seen it as a happy ending and assumed everyone changed...
I watched it over the weekend actually (I was just kidding about the "cooties" and B&W films, I quite like a lot of old movies) and it was pretty good. Now as dated as I thought it would look. I still think the remake could be interesting though... I think Keanu looks to be playing a different kind of alien than Michael Rennie did though...

I'm expecting to be disappointed in the remake merely because they've removed the anti-war message of the original (still poignant today) and replaced it with this "Save The Earth, Drive a Hybrid, Get a Rain Barrel, Shop at Whole Foods" theme that's so popular today; complete with action-packed special effects sequences! Boooo.
I'm vaguely looking forward to it, slightly, I guess. I only heard they were remaking it when I was in the cinema the other day and walked by a poster...
I can't wait for Lucas to die and someone can remake the Star Wars prequals :D
