I had an inkling that Mr. Show was pure genius the first time I ever saw it, but what really cemented that for me was the "One Week Later" part in this sketch. I really wish a show of this caliber will return to the airwaves. Whitest Kids U Know came damn close though.

Cross is Franklin, BOB Odenkirk is Jefferson. Tom Kenny is (Brooklyn style) Lincoln (he does the voice of Spongebob now!), Gwinnett is Jack Plotnick, and the guy introducing everyone is John Ennis.

obviously they are from different American eras, but the humor of it is that the "flag expert" is making it all up quite inaccurately.
