Oh man, I LOOOVED watching G-Force when I was a kid. It was my favorite. I tried to google it awhile back and just kept getting that stupid movie about a buncha hamsters, lol. Thanks for the share!

those toys are cool! you make it look like they came with the dvd's. didn't they make a 7 Zark 7 figure? That would be cool! I would make 7 zark 7, r2-d2, and the robot from buck rogers all fight each other in a death match, like mtv's claymation celebrity fights.

the reveal for zoltar showed not a he, not a she, but a transvestite of some kind. super scarifying. I watched these on tv in LA as a kid after school. I also collected the goldkey/whitman comics in 77',78' and 79'. I still have them,they are worth alot now, because they were low print runs. The movie is coming out, it is about them and not rodents. But I am depressed that it is a cartoon movie and not a live action movie like x-men. it would be awesome to see a big hollywood production.

Gatchaman was butchered by the "G-Force/ Battle for the planets" plot mod. Zoltar(and Racer X) is what I think the look of anime should continue being, that's eptome anime!

I got hold of a G Force DVD and the character names were not as I remember. Mark is Ace Goodheart, Jason is Dirk Daring, Princess is Agatha June and the little dude and the pilot are called pee wee and hoot owl. Anyone tell me anything about the change in names ? I do'n't know much about the history just remember it bieng the best programme ever

Thanks for the post. This was the first Anime that I was ever introduced to back in the late 70's early 80's and yes I do remember Keopp's voice as being wierd. I got excited a few years ago when I heard there was a movie coming out called G-Force but it turnied out to be about talking rodents....

I always hated the Battle of the Planets names...

Probably because I grew up with G-force, and am now accustomed to the REAL names.

The Battle of the Planets names make no damn sense. They only really needed to change Ryu and Jinpei's names, and Keyop is MUCH weirder and unAmerican than Jinpei. As for Jun, June would have worked fine. Ken and Joe are English names. Tiny, however, I approve of. I always thought Ryu was a stupid asshole anyway.

Awsome, I've got 1 Princess, 1 Zoltar and 3 mark so far. I've found Keyop but where do i find Tiny and Jason? I LOVED watching this when I was a kid and cant wait for the movie to come out, 2010 allegedly!

hi there best place to find jason and tiny is on ebay i bought a jason of ebay and it set me back nearly £50 and then i have just got a tiny for £10 best to to just keep searching ebay for them both

i dont get why had to change the name for the main character. In the jap version Mark is called Ken (the Eagle). Ken is pretty much an english name..:S but for the other people I can understand why they changed it. Anyway thanks for sharing that with us, I enjoyed that

Yeah, this was my ultimate favourite show as a kid in the 70's. Keyop's weapon is called a "bolo".

7-Zark-7 and 1-Rover-1 and S.U.S.A.N. were invented to cover the gaps caused by censorship of the fight / blood scenes by American censors and were inspired by R2-D2.

There was a modern remake called "Eagle Riders" where the characters got different names and different vehicles. But to me it wasn't the same as the original.

Really ? That's pretty creative using an X-Wing Fighter for the Phoenix. Still, in '78 everything revolved about Star Wars and having a major character named 'Princess' in a sci-fi adventure was a sure bet to get noticed.

A live-action movie is long long overdue.

these were made in 2002 by Diamond Select Toys and Collectables. Consisted of two series - series one was mark, princess and keyop. Series two was jason, tiny and zoltar. Hope that helps you out. Cheers.
