Dreamweaver Tutorials- Working with Div Tags; using float and background image

Ok, you are probably tired of hearing this, but you are great with tutorials. I didn't even watch the video, saw the first frame (vid is still loading) and you answered the question for me in layman's terms-what the fuck do you use div tags for! Thanks cause I have been all over the web (while at work, shhhh), and finding the same 'tech talk' at explaining what div tags are. You are the greatest, ok second greatest next to me, but you are still up there : 0 )

@labradoido well very good questions ...firstly avoid AP divs as far as possible , and use them only if you wish to tuck them in the corners or the edges of the pages ..what is also good abt AP divs is that u can overlap them ..fixed type divs are very similar ..I personally use Aps only for CORNERS AND EDGES OF THE WEBPAGE..
