The old vocalist is obviously my favourite too, I'm a long time fan of Shai Huld, but the new vocalist is definitely a great vocalist as well. I wouldn't say that he's horrible, and to be perfectly honest, it was the best vocalist turn over I've ever seen. Most bands get a new vocalist, and it kind of wrecks the band, but I think Shai Hulud is still an amazing, unique band that has stood and will continue to stand diverse among all the bands that thrive on cheap tactics.

I can understand why some people don't like this band. Shai Hulud is a thinking man's metal band.

Scenesters who are into mallcore and rednecks that are into Pantera and shit will never get what Shai Hulud is doing.

In my estimation, Shai Hulud will be looked back upon as one of the most underrated and influential hardcore/metal bands of all time.
