"Stroke" refers to the movement of the piston in the engine. 2 Stroke means one stroke in each direction. A 2 stoke engine will have a compression stroke followed by an explosion of the compressed fuel.

aka A 2-stroke engine doesn't have valves, a 4-stroke engine does.

DRZ 400= bogged down dual sport, CRF 250R= High revving snappy mx bike with a rev limit of 13500 rpms that means the piston moves up and down 225 times a second ok so say most am riders ride at 13000 rpms constantly for 15 hours your piston moves up and down 11,700,000 times you think it wouldnt be worn out? Learn your facts and go ride your DRZ 400 you lazy fuck.

if you want to get into freestyle than get a 2 stroke cause its lighter. if you want to get into motocross than get a 4 stroke. i like the yz 125 2 stroke. but 4 stroke wise get a kx250f. but if you get a yz you can still use it for motocross to. though i wouldnt want to use a 4 stroke for fmx because its so much heavier. and if you mess up in fmx than you have an extra 20 pounds coming down on you.

don't ride in the c-class or d-class you can get hurt fast really really fast ive landed on so many people in the c-class (theyt do the jump the first lap but not when im passing them) so im not going in the c-class no more its fucking crazy out there you get people that dont know what there are doing and go out there and take out half the pack

i will only race the c-class at small tracks 15 people or less big tracks 45+ in my class i race the b class

yea a 65-125cc two strokes are shifting machines. for most tracks 2nd-5th tapped. we have a track that has a straight away about a 100 yards long and i hit 52 mph on it right before a corner my uncle on his crf450 (07) hits 58 we did it with a gps. 1.5 mile long track and it is so sick very good cornering track but i blew my bike up so im punching her out to 144cc hells yea!!

Depends on the track ultimately. I typically don't drop below 3rd if I don't have to. If there aren't a lot of grooves to hit in the corners though, you gotta drop to 2nd or 3rd and cut some. But, that rarely happens.
