The article implies that the second benefit of naked air travel would be the absence of religious fundamentalists on planes. Ann reads that as blaming "fundamentalists of any stripe" for past attacks. She explains it well if you tolerate following her stupid logic.

I believe this was Article 32 of the Geneva Convention, and the clause of the U.N Charter (I believe it was Article 4, I might have these backwards. Supranational Law is complicated..) which deals with aquisition of Territory through Warfare (Rendering it illegal) has also been virtually rescinded by the U.S in order to placate Israel and it's land-grabs. International Law is irrelevant to your Rulers..

The U.N supported a *No-fly zone* - it did not authorize the use of Covert British Special Forces, of vast Air-force utilization, of a CIA infilitration of 'Rebel' forces and use of a former CIA agent for Command of the Eastern Rebels. The bottom line for having a political party is to present an unified statement on the issues. The statements of Coulter, Beck, et. al. are confused in the minds of many as being GOP positions. In fact, these statements are not vetted or coordinated by the GOP. This makes it difficult for the GOP to develop strategy. Bottom line, these loose cannons are harming GOP. @doonymacc You might say that until you actually read the whole article. Ann was SPOT ON in what the author of the article was saying. However, she should not have said "and I quote" - even though the author DID indeed write that. That was her only error. Including the pun, but leaving out those 3 words would get her point across and leave no way for Franken to take advantage of the audience's ignorance.
