One of the best songs I have heard in a long time...goosebumps...makes you feel....this guy is bad mofo....I actually think as good as the big boys when music was soulful in the 60's and 70's and I can't believe I am saying that!! Wow
Honestly, I heard this song in my new favorite movie Fright Night's intro and I instantly fell in love with it, every time I hear this song I get a good feeling inside my soul! So, thanks Fright Night for bringing me here! I give this song 2 thumbs up! This is now one of my favorite songs and I have A LOT!! LOL! :)
HE IS IN NO WAY EVEN REMOTELY SIMILAR TO DYLAN! However, he is in every way like Leonard Cohen. Musical Composition, lyrical style and content, spirituality (Cohen's an ordained and spent several years in a Buddhist monastery), Cohen has 16 publications, Alex Ebert has also worked on a book of his own about a Messianic figure, named Edward Sharpe, "I had a very Messianic childhood." (-Leonard Cohen). Hmm.....
@SausageFestNation The original was definitely better...but I agree with you, for a "remake" it was very good !! I went to watch it twice as a matter of fact......once in 3D and once in 2D !!! LOL Can't wait for the 3D Bluray release !! Oh BTW ....I about shat myself when I saw Chris Sarandon's cameo scene !!! LOL Caught me totally by surprise !!!
One of the best parts of the "Fright Night" remake imo. This song over the opening credits set the tone perfectly for the film. Too bad the film in general didn't do the original justice.
It's good, however, I really think that he's actually biting Hamilton from The Walkmen pretty hard. And to say that Bob Dylan has NOTHING on this guy, wow.....You're giving him WAAAY too much credit. Good song, not great.

Would have never heard of this song if it hadn't been in the FRIGHT NIGHT intro. Made good use of this song, and now i'm a fan.

Great song! It follows the opening scene of the "new" Fright Night remake. The sound is amazing, the vocals reminded me of Bob Dylan in a way.
russellmcmanus 2 months ago
@russellmcmanus - He kinda reminds me of Dylan when asking a question, then answers in a voice reminiscent of Bob Marley.....I like this guy a lot!
