Yes, Lafayette Square is a very diverse neighborhood. People are VERY friendly and very accepting.

I have lived in Lafayette Square for a year now. I rent a small apartment here. And I absolutely love my neighborhood and hope that it keeps improving. I walk the park for exercise and love the historic feel to everything.
