its always the default name. (blue, gary, barry) too bad i dont know the default name for this rival. when the policemen asks you the rival name, if u dont type in a name and hit done, does it give u the default name? yeah im pretty uncreative but who cares

I know normally name as one of the anime characters(ie ash, gary, barry, etc.). If i feel like sometimes I name it after this really big jjerk at my school or my best friend.

Except for Pearl, when the rival is your friend, I name mine after people I don't like. It's just so satisfying to imagine yourself pwning them. Steve, Travis, and Adam are the most frequent.
