  • 68 X60 BUT ACTUALLY IT IS 4080 MAY BE ANOTHER METHOD /????

    6700

  • what if 678x99

    the answer would come negative

  • 3x8 dont work

    why lie

  • @karout12 Listen again. He said this trick only works when mulitplying by 9.

  • NIce...

  • what about 907 x 338?

  • Vande Mataram!

We should promote vadic culture and sanskrit !

  • i love you man. . . . . .you're the man, I'm filipino. i highly appreciate it...MAY GOD WATCH OVER YOU, IM SO HAPPY UPON READING THIS TACTICS

  • I think it's easier if you have, x * 9

    change the 9 to a ten, so you get, x + 10

    then just subtract x, x * 10 - x

this way, it still works if x > 9.

  • thanks alot you rockk this is all on 9

  • How to solve when the no. Of 9's are less than the multiplicative digits...

  • This is video very good!thanks!

  • u dont have anything for fractions?????

  • whoa!!!! awesome luv u man.... ♥♥♥♥ u'av changd ma life...!!! upload sum more tutorials like tis... fo sure tis'll hlp evryone....

  • Math is not about calculating.

  • wonderful sir, excellently explained and you proved its so damn easy....thanks to vedic maths and thanks to you sir....

    dhanyavadalu...

  • sir it not work with this 27*99= 2673 ( by calculator ) 2672 (this ans by ur meathod )

  • @namansharma3267 You get the correct answer.

    9-2=7 9-6=3

  • dude you r freaking cool man thx ^^

  • You rule! THX.

  • only works when you have the same amount of 9s as you do with the digits your multiplying eg: 52*99 will work, but you cannot use 52*999.... im just trying to imagine a scenario other than school, where i would have to put this skill to use

  • i do it almost the same way but what i do is, for example 58 x 99

i add 2 zeros to 58 (because there are 2 nines) then it becomes 5800 and then i subtract 58 from 5800 and then you got your answer.

its easier to calculate it in your head this way.

  • this only works when using equal amount of nines to the amount of places in the number you are multiplying or it is useless... so, you'd rarely be able to use this in larger numbers. good short cut with smaller nines though.

  • @Davidwhat

When yo have more 9's than the number of digits in the first number [your example 52] you just copy those extra nine's to the result before starting to do the subtraction from 9's.

    Examples;

    52*999 -> 51 [52-1] 9 [one extra 9] 48 [99-51] so the result is => 51948

    52*9999 -> 51 [52-1] 99 [two extra 9] 48 [99-51] so the result is => 519948

    52*99999 -> 51 [52-1] 999 [three extra 9] 48 [99-51] so the result is => 5199948

  • how to calculate 67x9=?

  • how would I divide 3.6 /36.5 in vedic math??? please help fast you can just email me of make a video in a day or two will be great.... and let me know in message that you have posted the answer...i need it for the exam in 3 days!! thanks

  • you are a mad genius. I love it. thanks

  • How will ur rule work when I intend to multiply 19 x 9 ?

  • does work for all number s hu like 2x8

  • amazing - thanks for sharing

  • can you do like 4568 x 99? plz replay

  • Hostility may or may not be a road to misfortune, europeans know about this all too well..

  • Why cant we learn like this.... I hate normal algebra 2 and next year ive got to take honors geometry as a sophmore so this makes it alot easier thank you.

  • why don't they teach that in school?

  • Stop asking about other numbers, he specified "one less than the previous number", which naturally only works with 9 'cus 9 is one less than 10.

Now, this will also only work if the number you're multiplying with the series of 9 and the series of 9 have the same amount of digits. Otherwise you're not gonna get anywhere using this method. There's probably some sort of way around this, but not one that I can spot.

  • Hello! i'd 568*99 n 563*99 but getting wrong answer as per d vedic sutra..i'd same as it was explained in the video!

  • wow ! thx ! now i know an easyier way to mutiply for the taks on monday ! i bet no1 knowes how to do this ! Lolz ! thx !

  • i notice this theory only works with the number 9!!! how about 44x66?

  • wow.

  • you are a really good teacher fine plizzz more videos!!!

  • Vedic Maths has been with you for thousands of years, why don't you start thinking numbers other than base 10 and design a much better math processor.Btw; who said ancients and modern can't be fused.

  • does it have to be the same amount of number in both sides

    can you do 5678765*99??

  • I love Indians speaking english :D

  • What about if the number of the digits are different? For example 23 X 345

Can you please show us this?

  • To srivastayukha, friend u have used the wrong method hence u got the answer wrong. Remember this technique is for the multiplication of two nos with same number of digits, of which one is of 9's. So here in your example 6254873 x 9999999,

Take one less for number 6254873 which is equal to 6254872 which is first half of the answer. For the second half subtract 6254872 from 9999999 which is equal to 3745127. Hence the answer is 62548723745127. Got it.

  • but u see the digits of both are same... y?

  • Very nice thank you for sharing with us.

    Long live the Veda knowledge

    जय हिंद

  • it seems that this technique does not quite work for two digits multiplied by 9 for example 21* 9 = 189 but this technique will give 209. 22*9 = 198 this technique will give 218. 23*9 = 207. the technique gives 227. it seems that after the initial steps we have to subtract our first result by the first digit of the number being multiplied by 9. But for 20,30,40 etc.. you have to subtract by the first digit minus 1. this works but i'm just wondering if there is an easier way.

  • hey wait i did 6254873 x 9999999 and i did the same trick and the answer came out wrong 62548723745126 and its absolutely wrong plz sir mail me if there is any other trick 2 do it and what is the answer plz mail me

  • @srivastavayuktha actually you have done properly, but the last digit you have to subtract 2 from 9, you have subtracted 3 form 9, your answer will be 6254872 3745127

  • @bsnvr

the answer is different from the calculator.

  • Does it works with 44 x 14?

  • @KINGRISING1 this is a special case and only applicable to multiply any number by 9's only. watch out my videos for other general multiplication in Vedic mathematics.

  • @KINGRISING trck go to /watch?v=dD5ZMoY7HtY youtube dot com in front of course

  • Oh nevermind my previous comment! I forgot that this is a special way specifically for 9! Sorry.

  • johny 5!!!! he's alive!!!!! alive!!!! :P

can a smile not be put on your face with him as a teacher??

  • Thanks for sharing such techniques. BTW I couldn't apply this for 5*3, 45*89 etc, is there any criteria\constraint for the technique discussed in the video?

  • awesome!

  • that was great!! keep the videos rolling!

  • i tried this and i did an easy problem of 2 * 3, he said to take less than the previous number, which is 1, and subtract from the other, which in this case is 3, so i get 12 as an answer, which i don't think is right, can somebody please explain this????

  • @Singh955 Hi... It applies only to 9, 99, 999, 9999 etc...

  • namasteji,

very good ! thank you for your channel.

i wish my teachers used this method to teach when i was at school !

    om namo narayan !

JAY SANATANA DHARMA !!!! vedic math ki jay !

  • Thank you so much! This is very helpful sir!

  • wat do dem 2 dunce ppl that dont like this

  • sir this is chakri i am very thank full to ur trick but what about when two no. are of different number of digits

  • 99 x 2? subtract 1 from 2 and get 99 x 1? that does not work for all cases.

  • @ihavenoname321

    99 x 2 = 198

take one less than 2 is 1.

    99 minus 1 is 98.

    198.

  • This is amazing, thank you. I would like to learn more...

  • wouldn't it be easier to do x*10^n - x where n is the number of 9s?

  • what if the two numbers have different numbers of digits?

  • @viktorcizic

Watch out my video , which I am planning to upload in few days.

  • what about 600 x 25 ?

  • @rome877

Watch out my video , which I am planning to upload in few days.

  • That's pretty awesome, but it's much simpler to do 58*100-58

  • wonderful very good post more feed my brain

  • wonderful very good post more feed my brain

  • This only works with 9's

  • this thing owns a big secret in it regarding the very treasurous knowledge of vedas

  • Thanks to all...

  • Very impressive! Keep up the posts. :)

  • Dear Grouvalorebetis. Why r u being so hostile? Bsnvr is doing a great job spreading this information. Vedic mathematics is over 5000 years old. When do u say Greece came up with this? Information only holds value when it is shared. The principal of Vedic mathematics explain to us the foundation of the structure of nature and the universe.

  • Read the Vedas and u will be enlightened on many aspects, math being just one, most importantly u will learn the reason for ur hostility and learn why this is the direct road to misfortune for u and ur surroundings. Bsnvr, please keep up the good work.

    Namaste

  • my friend, sorry for saying this but in Greece we do the same stuff you do in the first years of school.A Greek 12 years old boy konws those methods.baybe it's because Greeks made them..even the word ''mathimatics'' is greek...

  • @Grouvalorebetis

greece is pegan when make mathematics and science but after converte chritanity they destroy all thing of pegan cult including mathematics and mathematics is the integral part of Indian culture as well as ayurveda the ancient surgery or the first surgery held in india. From lagodh to ramanujam a through gurushishya parampara of Indian mathematics exist which known as vedic mathematics.

  • thank u good man :)

  • Could you please do 13324 times 5 because when you did the other calculations you made both sides have the same amount of numbers eg. 58 time 99 they both have 2 numbers on each side.....just wondering if u could use the same technique for calculations like 12432 times 3 etc.

  • wow incredible...thanks

  • thanks

  • thanks. Right now the DVD is available only in India. Soon, it will be made available in other countries.

  • Need to buy the DVD can you please advise how this can be done..Is delivery available in the UK..

  • How can we sign up the website, and buy the DVD set?

  • this is crazzy my daughter needs to see this :O)
