Thanks a lot for this, I was wondering if there was a way to swap spells/weapons quickly, but unfortunately I'm not a mage and rarely use magick, I'm a dual dagger wielding thief. =P Still helpful to know though, so thanks again!

Uhm, how to dual wield 2 different daggers? I have blade of woe and I think it was elven dagger, I can't dual wield them anyhow using any instructions regarding favoriting. :/

only problem is i have fast healing one the right d-pad, and i want to be able to switch out my main hand for fast healing. problem is, it switches my shield out instead. any ideas on how to get it to switch the item in the right hand?

the way you can duel wield is if you have 2 of the same thing first you equip it to your right hand next while still in the menu you equip it to your left (i do not now if this works for pc cuz i have PlayStation)

Can anyone tell me why I can't favourite anything? I'm on the PC and I press F and nothing happens at all, so I went to the help section in the menu and it said to press T, but that only charges weapons! I'm so confused, do I have some kind of glitch, I googled it and couldn't find anything related to my problem. :( It's so frustrating!!

@YamiHoOu all you need to do is go into settings then controls, once you're there scroll down until you find toggle POV change that to the f key and it should work it worked for me

if u use a xbox you also can favorite a weapon and stuff. On xbox u can open the favorite list by pressing the 'up' arrow, this works also very fast and easy.

@ismaelkf Well xbox controller on pc is the same as just playing xbox(except it is on the pc ofc..). I think you can only do this with a keyboard if i am not mistaking, but you can try.

something wierd its happening to me , when i try to do this my spells won't show , the hand is there and the animation of the spells works too but it won't do anything , unless i wait a few second for the spell to show in my hands , its really annoying actually , does some1 know how to fix this?

@erne57 powers are run by magica it regenerates like your health the spells dont wont work if your magica is low spells have certain costs of magica some alot some low like novice spells

@MrHamsterpower yes sorry i didn't mean that , the thing is that the animation of the spells does not appear in the hand , it takes a while for it to appear and for the spell to make any effect unless i pause the game and then it appears so it only happens with the fast switching method (1 , 2 ,3 ,4 , ....) thanks anyways.

Alright, one problem. Q doesn't bring up my favorites list. F also doesn't favorite anything for me while in the Items list. I changed Q to do "always run." I've tried to assign other keys to the favorites menu. It just doesn't work. Could this be a bug?

I had to reset all my controls to default. I was able to keep Shift as Sneak and X as sprint.

For PC only, Add things (weapon/potion/magic etc) to your favorites, then while in the favorites list, hit 1-8 over highlighted thing to hotkey it.

Probably the d-pad on console.
